Even if you’re out exploring during the day, make time to come up here—it’s worth it. We were lucky enough to meet Tola, one of the owners, in person, while Patrick was always just a message away on WhatsApp. Their hospitality was next-level—not just friendly, but genuinely invested in making sure we had the best experience in Kampot. Need a scooter? They’ll sort it. Have a question? They’ll answer before you’ve finished typing. It felt less like staying at a hotel and more like staying with friends who happen to be excellent hosts. A small but brilliant touch was the Welcome Book in our room. Now, I’m a logical guy—former project manager—so I really appreciated how well-thought-out and practical it was. It wasn’t just another generic guidebook; it told the story of the owners, explained how everything in the room worked, and laid out the best of Kampot in a way that made planning effortless. There are subtle sustainability hints woven throughout the book and the hotel itself—little reminders that made me rethink my own habits. Το Kampot Camping - Eco Retreat προσφέρει καταλύματα με εστιατόριο, κήπο, βεράντα και μπαρ, ενώ το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Kampot Pagoda απέχει 8,1 χλμ. Προσφέρεται δωρεάν WiFi. Atmosphere, nature, staff, and the owner are friendly 😀 . I like that place and will be back there again. I also enjoy the soft musical 🎼 there too.

They serve the best pancakes we’ve had in our trip. It’s a few kilometers out of town, but not a problem if you have a moped or taxi is cheap. The host helped us out with moped, routes and maps of where to go as well as transfer at a reasonable price. They also have 2 cute and friendly dogs that run around the property.

We decided to stay at Kampot Origin Guesthouse because it's not far from the center, has an affordable price, and is very clean, especially their beddings. The staff who attended to us were very accommodating. Hopefully, next week we will still be staying at this guesthouse.

The room is very nice, fully furnished, clean, and comfortable. I stayed there for two days. The experience was great, and the host was very friendly. The location is excellent — it's within walking distance to Hippocampus statue and the river side Park.
