It’s located some distance from the safari but still relatively close by. we managed to see the elephant and even a leopard! The room itself was clean and well planned, all the basic amenities were provided for us.

The toilet and shower were very clean. The beds were comfy and pillows as well. They provide the bed sheeting. The kitchen!!! They have a small kitchen and it was gret for preparing breakfast and coffe and eating together with the rest of the people. They have hammocks and beds to chill everywhere, so the name fits very well ❤️‍🩹

It is an amazing experience. Situated right on the edge of Wilpattu National park these minimalist cottages provide an authentic feeling of oneness with nature. The srilankan cuisine served every evening was a curated menu of traditional Srilankan dishes made with the freshest ingredients. Served under the starlight the lantern lit dinners were highly enjoyable and very relaxing. The main reason we would always choose wildhideaway wilpattu to stay and safari with is its owner Mr Anto. His inimitable passion and dedication towards wildlife and photography is inspiring. He keeps himself aware on the animal sightings to give those who safari with him a greater chance of of catching a glimpse of these majestic creatures. On our safari we saw, leopards, elephant, sloth bear, hyena, python, crocodile and several others. The stay was simple comfortable. The rooms have been thoughtfully and sustainably designed. Tea and breakfast can be had while relaxing on the verandah. The stay at Wildhideaway Wilpattu taste of the raw beauty of Srilankan wilderness the memories will last us a lifetime.

Our stay at Oleenas was great! The room was spaceous and clean with hot water and a rack for wet clothes. The beds were comfy and it was very quiet at night. The food offered was the best we've had in Sri Lanka so far and they tried to change the breakfast every day a little. But the best about our stay was the hospitality from Jeewa and his family. He helped us planning our stay and organised absolutely everything for us! For our trips to Sigiriya, Dambulla and Polonnaruwa he even drove us with his Tuktuk and explained everything we saw along the route. But also before we even arrived he organised our transport and told us we can count on his help for the rest of our trip. Would recommend 100%!

The breakfast was abundant and the owner took us to several places with his own tuktuk at an excellent fare. We felt like home!

The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service and free WiFi. We had the absolute best stay at Mutu Village. My husband and I stayed 2 nights in the Pearl of The Jungle private tree house on the property. Sameera and his staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating. We enjoyed 2 dinners and breakfast each morning- the food was absolutely wonderful… would highly recommend for this alone. Our treehouse was quiet and extremely comfortable. The open air bathroom was nice and clean. We would live at the Mutu village if we could!
