Not only he took care that we were satisfied within the hotel, but he also arranged/booked all the activities for us for a very fair price - sunrise at Pidurangala rock, safari to Minneriya national park, and a ride to our next stay. He always only booked the "checked" drivers/guides he knew, that spoke very good English and gave us the best experience possible. We were also very satisfied with the safari guide - we saw a lot of wild animals, he explained us a lot about the wildlife of the national park, and he was very respectful to the animals (not coming too close, moving away if the elephants came closer and wanted to cross the road...). The breakfast is also very big and delicious, with eggs, sandwiches and fresh fruit. Definitely the best stay we had in Sri Lanka!

The rooms are very rustic but charming. They have built them themselves. And now the most important part, the family. I have no words to describe their kindness and hospitality. The man always worried that I would not lack anything. He took me with his motorbike to a medicinal plant garden and also to Pidurangaya and the famous Sigiriya rock. A great person with a big heart. And let's talk about the meals, dinner and breakfast of great quality and quantity. They know how to pamper their customers with details, like a fruit juice. They will never say no. They also wash your clothes. In summary: highly recommended for the human warmth that you breathe and the good treatment you receive. The best place in Sigiriya and almost all of Sri Lanka.

Fantastic stay. Karu picked me up from the airport in a taxi and as with the rest of my stay was so polite, efficient and friendly. He suggested a daily itinerary including Polonnuwara, Dambulla caves and Sigiriya rock and Pidurangala, taking me in his tuktuk. He used to work as a tour guide so is very knowledgeable and knows everyone ! The room was comfortable, air con noisy but I used the fan instead. Great treat to have the pool to cool off in. The food, home cooked by Anusha, was incredible, and all at such good value. Loved it here. Thank you.

The room was comfortable, the bed was very cozy, and the veranda was a great place to relax.
