Set in Bhurkīā, Nanu's Bardiya Homestay offers accommodation with a patio. There is a private entrance at the homestay for the convenience of those who stay. All rooms are equipped with a terrace with views of the garden. i spent a good stay in that nice family. nanu and his wife kali take care of you very well. she cooks a delicious dahl. And nanu explains you how the safari goes to happen. he will be your guide during the safari. i did safari walking and jeep. i saw tigers/rhinoceros/elephants/snakes/monkeys...). good price!! there are 2 or 3 rooms. usually not a lot of people. big room with mosquito net, fan ceiling and your own bathroom. it was clean. nothing to say. i paid 210€ in all : for 4 safaris walking and 1 safari jeep, meals, free water bottles, room. 8.5 days!! safari begins at 7am and finishes like 6pm. bardia park is good if you want to avoid the tourists like in chitwan. so lets go to nanu homestay if u want a very good experience in a local family instead a ressort expensive and without contact with the owner.

We were in the jungle with the owner, Papu, for many days. He is a very skilled guide with excellent English, who doesn't only have a lot of knowledge of the animals and plants, but also cares about safety and the wellbeing of the animals we observed. We were very lucky to even see two tigers on different days with him. I really appreciated his knowledge of birds too. Very happy to have had you as our guide Papu!

The most lovely hotel I’ve visited in Nepal. The room was spacious and very comfortable, with a special mention for the bed that felt like a piece of heaven. The food was just crazily good, coming directly from the garden and offering us a glimpse of the wonderful Nepalese cooking. Shreedhar and his stepmom were very helpful and always keen to provide us with tea or useful insights on the Nepalese rural lifestyle. We were also getting involved in some tasks, such as cooking, milking the cow, or preparing butter, which were wonderful experiences that we did not expected to try there. As for the jungle walks, Binay was a very good guide with an impressive knowledge of Bardia NP (his ability to recognize every single song of the jungle was beyond possible, I swear). We didn’t get to see the tiger but we saw multiple rhinos and crocodiles. Overall, I would definitely recommend to stay there at least a few nights to share the way of life of these wonderful people, and experience a part of Nepal that’s a bit unknown compared to the world famous Himalaya.

Namaste Bardiya Resort is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Bhurkīā, where guests can make the most of its garden and bar. This bed and breakfast features free private parking, free shuttle service and free WiFi. Guests can make use of the outdoor fireplace or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the river and garden. A beautiful property and lovely guest house very close to the bardiya national park entrance. The Cabins are big and cozy, each one quite far from the other so you get a lot of privacy and all around there are only trees and grass. It feels like really living in nature and not in a resort. The common dinning area is very nice, facing a beautiful river, and the food is good. Krishna and his wife are great hosts and they offer a lot of options to experience the park. Overall, a really amazing value-for-money place in bardiya

Everything , the hole family was very warm and welcoming from day 1 until i left, stayed here 3 weeks and did some trips into the djungel, saw many tigers, leopards, elephants really really good for wildlife! Would deffently stay here again and the hugh garden is so amazing!! With alot of birds fruits, veggies etc.

The accommodations were very nice for my safari days in BNP, Hakum was a very good guide , I did one day in a jeep, and two walking. Unfortunately didn’t sight a tiger this time, there were prints, markings , and scat everywhere we walked. . The home cooked meals were very satisfying after a long day on the trail.

At the accommodation, all rooms are fitted with a seating area. We cannot say enough good things about Mr. B’s. This is a budget hotel/cottage in a small village outside a National park, so its offerings are simple but met all of our needs. The room was one of the nicest we had in Nepal (and the cheapest), the food was delicious and the whole experience left us relaxed and refreshed. I am not sure life will ever bring me back to Bardiya, but if it does- this is where I will stay.
