If you want, his mom can prepare you traditional Newari meals, and he can also be your personal tour guide, taking you to know the city and the vicinities; he showed me places I would have totally missed if I were on my own. During my stay, I was basically his buddy, met his friends, etc. Overall, the only thing I regret is not being able to stay longer; Navin is the best host ever and he made my time in Bhaktapur so interesting and meaningful.
