Deepak, did an amazing job of arranging the whole trip for us. We arrived late at night with no plans and by 9am the next morning Deepak had planned the whole trip for us. He arranged rides, hotels, guides and food for the ten days for us. He set us up with a great guide, Bidur for a 5 day trek on the Mardi Himil trek the guide took care of all the details and really watched over us as we increased in elevation and monitored us for attitude sickness. Overall could not have asked for a better trip!!

Namaste Home Stay heeft een tuin, een terras, een restaurant en een bar in Dulikhel. The homestay is in a perfect location, with only 15 minutes walk to Thrangu Tashi Yangtse monastery. The view of the surrounding hills and villages was spectacular. The homestay staff was very attentive and provided authentic tasty food. The guy from the UK took us to look around the villages and introduced the meaningful innovative program to install water tank and pipeline for the village inhabitants. The unique experience brough us a closer look to the life of the local Tamang people.

Laxmi Homestay with main square view bevindt zich op 2 minuten lopen van Bhaktapur Durbar Square, en biedt accommodatie met een terras, een restaurant en roomservice. This is a house of a local family, so it’s a best way to stay here and get the most of local life. I spent a whole week here for the Nepali new year and had several Newari dinner meals with the host’s family (include a new year feast). I learned to properly eat with my hand. And I appreciate they changed the food every day a bit when I said I like to try more kinds of local food. The rooptop is the best place to have a full view of the Dubar Square and valley, I really enjoyed to stay up there every morning and night, so peaceful and chill. During the festival, the host provided all the infos about when and where to see the celebrations and even show me around, tell stories about Bhaktapur and the festival. It’s the place I would like to come back one day.

Hotel BnB Mhepi bevindt zich in Kathmandu, op 2,7 km van Swayambhunath, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. The best part of my stay was my encounter with the sacred Rudraksh Tree in their garden. I have never thought of finding the holy tree in any hotels. So lucky I am. Thank you so much for preserving it and making it available to every devotee of Rudra. Everything else of my stay was perfect.

Sunrise Point Homestay in Nagarkot biedt accommodatie met uitzicht op de bergen, een tuin, een terras en een restaurant. Er is gratis WiFi. Elke unit beschikt over een patio met uitzicht op het meer. Everything is perfect here, the owners, the food (literally each dish was the best I had in Nepal), the views, the ambience… There are some hikes around, town is walking distance, cute local villages too! Stayed 4 nights but I’d definitely stay even longer next time!
