The apartment was spacious, comfortable & well-appointed with a nice terrace. It overlooks a shipyard & a cruise port, but we weren't affected at all by any noise while we were there. It is located in a quiet area of Ahuriri where there are a variety of waterfront restaurants & shops. Napier is just a few minutes away by car. We enjoyed exploring the area, visiting wineries and hiking the trails at Te Mata Peak.

John was a great personable host, and served up a great breakfast. Had a few glasses of wine on the porch with another guest couple in the rain. Could have stayed longer if we had the time.
