There’s a hike right from the cabin, and owner Mark is full of good advice of 1,000 other things to do in the region. It’s a relaxed place with a shared kitchen kept neat and tidy and well-equipped. We were there as a couple and enjoyed meeting other travellers, but the place can also be booked for big groups which would be excellent for mountain biking enthusiasts and others. The climb up to the platform bed is pretty steep but the bed was cozy and firm and comfortable.

The location and accommodations exceeded our expectations! The owners were very friendly and pointed out many things to do during our stay. The property is located in a beautiful rural area next to a river. All our needs outside of the property where with places close by.

The apartment was freshly renovated, light and airy and had all the facilities we could have asked for. Really comfy couch & chairs and we loved opening up all the windows to some lovely views. Excellent location to walk to the city centre and lovely tenants downstairs. We also really appreciated being able to bring my small, hypo-allergenic, non-shedding 5 year old dog along after talking to the owner.

We were a family of three and there was loads of living space for us. Ignoring the spare bedroom, downstairs had lots of space for us to play with our baby and manage food and drinks etc. great location, easy walk into town. Perfect amenities with a washing machine, dryer and dish washer. Super clean!

The comfort, the host, location, and the cleanliness of the property. I love that the host is very warm, welcoming and accommodating. The check-in instructions are easy to follow. The entire property is clean and spacious. I like that it smells good too. Perfect for family getaway. Private, quiet, near to everything. There's a private parking right in front of the property. Inside, It's got that homey feel. Overall, it's a great weekend spent! Great value for money. I highly recommend this property. Do not think twice, it's perfect! We found our "home" in Nelson. We'll definitely be booking again and honestly, we'll never look for other. Being it dog friendly is a bonus! Maybe next time we'll bring our furbabies

Hosts instructions and communication were amazing. Exceptionally clean and well thought out property. One of the best places we have stayed.
