The place has a beautiful setting in the desert. We were welcomed by dates, coffee, fruits. We ordered a dinner, which was really delicious and rich. Also, the breakfast was a traditional arab pancake, absolutely tasty. You need a 4 WD car to get to the camp, but the host can pick you up at a designated location.

Το Authentic Desert Camp - Al Wasil είναι ένα κατάλυμα με θέα στον κήπο που βρίσκεται σε Al Wāşil. Προσφέρει εστιατόριο και κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge. The authenticity was spot on. Everyone and everything was perfect. It was a hot night and the staff put our beds outside the tents, sleeping under the stars and full moon night was above and beyond our expectations. Camel rides were a little pricey but ya gotta do it. Diner and breakfast were traditional and plentiful. We will be back!

It was a lovely stay in the desert, highly recommend. The camp is well organised and the tent clean and spacious. Very good communication with the host, he quickly responded to our messages via whatsapp.

Staying at Desert Diamond Private camp was one of the best experiences I had in Oman. The camp is private and peaceful, and the hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. The food was delicious and varied — I especially enjoyed the camel meat at dinner. Breakfast on the soft desert sand was unforgettable. The room and bathroom were both beautifully decorated and very clean. The stargazing trip was a magical experience that added a special touch to the stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic and memorable desert escape.

Το Moon Light Camp είναι στον προορισμό Bidiyah. Μερικές μονάδες έχουν χώρο καθιστικού ή/και βεράντα. Me and my friends liked the whole experience of being in a desert, that was something worth of doing. Ibrahim and all staff members are just amazing friendly people that are making it even more unforgettable experience. We had a chance also to have some Omani food for dinner and breakfast which was very nice. In the morning beautiful sunrise and in the evening stunning sunset. As a activity we did dune driving which was so much fun. Tents were clean and comfortable, biggest surprise was flushable toilet and running tap water with a shower. Beautiful experience and recommend to everyone.

This experience is unforgettable. The tent is super cozy, I loved the colours, the warmth, and quality. The team who works in a camp are super friendly, helpful and fun. The sky is full of stars. Food was super delicious - strongly recommended to get the breakfast too (it is Omani and very nice). Special shout to Hamid, who made the best tea on the open fire and took amazing pics :) the evening activity next to the open fire on the sand was just amazing - we sang song, danced, and heard a lot about Oman. Thanks a lot!

Very nice accommodation in the desert, which is a great departure from the classic hotel accommodation. If you have the nature to do without the usual hotel room environment, you will be thrilled. The sunrise and sunset are beautiful.

From the moment we arrived we were treated to Omani hospitality at its very best. The thrill of driving over the sandunes to the camp and on arrival being served with hot/cold beverages along with dates, fruit and nuts. Our host Hammed is a charming man and delighted to give us insight into the traditions and history of desert living but also to melt away and allow us to enjoy our surroundings. Nothing was too much trouble even when on the morning of our departure we had a flat tyre. Everything was sorted for us. The tents were airy, with warm comfortable beds and beautifully decorated in a traditional manner. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and well maintained including the onsite facilities which included a cold! morning shower. As our dinner was prepared we watched the sun set over the sandunes. The food was plentiful (too much to eat), beautifully served and a dazzling array of different dishes served at both breakfast and dinner. After dinner we relaxed by the camp fire stargazing enjoying more tea/coffee, dates fruit and nuts while enjoying the stillness of the desert at night. Το Nomadic Desert Camp βρίσκεται σε Al Wāşil. Στον χώρο του καταλύματος προσφέρεται ιδιωτικός χώρος στάθμευσης. Προσφέρονται πετσέτες και λευκά είδη. The camp was very welcoming, comfortable and cosy. We arrived in the late afternoon, in time to join a ten minute walk to see the sunset from the dunes nearby, with dates and coffee. All the staff was very kind and accommodating. The food at dinner and breakfast, buffet style, was plentiful and delicious. The huts are cleverly built to let a breeze come through. Each individual hut feels private, but you can also enjoy the communal area and fire pit throughout the day. The shared facilities (toilet, sinks and showers) are clean and not busy (good ratio for the number of guests). You can book activities with the camp, such as camel walks. There was good communication with the camp ahead of time to arrange transfers to/from the camp. We highly recommend stopping there for a night to discover life in the desert.
