The place has a beautiful setting in the desert. We were welcomed by dates, coffee, fruits. We ordered a dinner, which was really delicious and rich. Also, the breakfast was a traditional arab pancake, absolutely tasty. You need a 4 WD car to get to the camp, but the host can pick you up at a designated location.

Το Authentic Desert Camp - Al Wasil είναι ένα κατάλυμα με θέα στον κήπο που βρίσκεται σε Al Wāşil. Προσφέρει εστιατόριο και κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge. The authenticity was spot on. Everyone and everything was perfect. It was a hot night and the staff put our beds outside the tents, sleeping under the stars and full moon night was above and beyond our expectations. Camel rides were a little pricey but ya gotta do it. Diner and breakfast were traditional and plentiful. We will be back!

We had an amazing night here, the camp is further out than the others which gives it a private and exclusive feeling. One of the most beautiful sunsets ever, good buffet dinner & breakfast & fire at night with the stars above was a highlight! Bathrooms are clean, just a bit smelly, I guess that is not to be avoided in a place so secluded! Bed and tent were spacious and comfortable.

To Desert Diamond Private Camp είναι σε Badīyah, σε Al Sharqiyah, και διαθέτει καταλύματα με δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης. Great location, service, food, transport to camp. This is how you do the business! Owner and other employees were kind, helpful and told us about omani culture and history. Tents were really comfy, bedsheets clean and the second smaller tent with bathroom was as well really well equipped. Το Arab desert camp βρίσκεται σε Al Raka και παρέχει καταλύματα με χώρο καθιστικού. Θα βρείτε πλήρως εξοπλισμένο ιδιωτικό μπάνιο με μπιντέ και δωρεάν προϊόντα μπάνιου. We loved our 1-night stay so much that I’m absolutely sure we’ll return for a longer one in the future! The tent was very clean, large and comfortable! Food was the best we had in the whole trip and the surrounding area very beautiful. Bader was such a great host, answering all of our questions and telling about the local traditions and way of life. The best part was the campfire at night after dinner with singing. Absolutely amazing!! The whole experience was magnificent! We also stayed in another camp that was significantly more expensive and I must say that Arab Desert Camp was by far the better option.

To wahiba Bedouiens privae Camp είναι σε Muntarib, σε Al Sharqiyah, και διαθέτει καταλύματα με δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης. We absolutely loved our stay at Wahiba Bedouins private camp, it more than exceeded our expectations. We spent two nights at the camp as part of a 2 1/2 week trip to Oman. We were met in town by Muhammad, the brother of the camp owner, who is very proud of the camp. We followed him in our 4x4 as he escorted us to camp. Upon arrival we were taken to the sun shelter and were served coffee, dates and refreshments. There was always plenty of food and drink for our entire stay. The camp consists of two guest tents, a dining tent, daytime sun shelter, kitchen tent and bathroom shelter with shower. Everything is done in a traditional way and is spotlessly clean. Muhammad is justifiably proud of his camp and how it is run. We also met Hasan at the camp. He is the camp cook but does much more than that. Hasan has a very engaging personality and always has a smile on his face. He regaled us with stories and answered any questions we had. Did I mention he is an outstanding cook! we enjoyed some of the best meals on our trip at the camp including a camel biryani (sorry vegetarians, plenty of veggie options as well). We chose this camp because it is small and we really wanted to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the desert, and that is exactly what we experienced. another highlight was an excursion to Muhammad’s village/oasis where he has a house and they have date palm trees, mango and other fruit trees, as well as grow alfalfa for the goats and camels. The visit was another highlight as was driving amongst the dunes in the desert. Thanks to Muhammad and Hasan for a truly memorable experience.

It was our first desert experience and it was wonderful. The camp itself, the friendly family running it, simple but sufficient facilities and beautiful surroundings.
