Incredible people that would organize so much for you. Very good food, transportation and they also arranged for us to join an island tour. The experience itself is really cool, but you need to put on a lot of clothes because it is going to be cold. You will never forget the water bottle.

Richar gidste ons naar de hoogste top van het eiland en kon heel wat vertellen over het leven op Amantani. Wij kwamen uit Juliaca via de ferry aan Puerto Chifron en Richar regelde voor ons een boot om de volgende ochtend terug te keren Puno. Lucrecia zorgde voor heel lekker eten. Achteraf gezien hadden we beter 2 nachten gebleven. Dan was er wat meer tijd geweest, bvb om met Richar te gaan vissen.

TITICACA JALTAWI LODGE in Puno biedt accommodatie met uitzicht op de stad, een tuin, een terras, een restaurant en watersportfaciliteiten. This was an amazing place! The hosts were so kind, gave us loads of information and even took us on a small tour of some nearby islands. The food was amazing! Very generous portion sizes and they were able to cater to a vegetarian diet. It was cold in the lodge but we always had plenty of blankets, a heater, hot water and hot water bottles to keep us warm so it was never a problem. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Vip Flotante bevindt zich op 4,6 km van Estadio Enrique Torres Belon en biedt accommodaties met een patio. Wow! I'm so grateful to have spent time in this beautiful place with an amazing family. If you want to see the Uros please do NOT book a tour book night here with Leonardo and Lina instead. There are such lovely people and offer tours themselves so you can discover their culture in a more private way and the money goes directly to a Uros family. We went on a kayak tour and were able to discover the whole village ourselves at our own pace which was great. The room was really comfortable, the view amazing and the food tasty. Lina, Leonardo and their children are great people happy to share about their culture. I feel really privileged to have spent time with them. One thing to note is that they live off grid, you only have USB ports in the room, the water pressure is low and it's a dry toilet. But they have managed to make it really comfortable anyway. We were surprised to even have hot water when we didn't have any in a hotel in town.

De Titicaca Aruntawi Lodge Peru ligt in Puno en biedt accommodatie met uitzicht op het meer. Het ontbijt is elke dag inbegrepen. Titicaca We, a Family of four (2 kids, 14 years and 12 years) stayed 2 nights at the lovely Titicaca Aruntawi Lodge. The house we stayed in is very comfortabel and nicely decorated. The bathroom is basic. Eddy, his parents and sisters did their utmost to make our stay as memorable as possible. Breakfast and dinner is very tasteful and they also took the allergy of our son into account. There are no functional wall sockets in the house so take into account to charge you devices prior to your stay and possibly use power banks. We had issues charging our camera but Eddy’s father helped us out and charged the battery for us. We also booked a tour to Tanquile island. It was nice but a little too touristy for us. A long boat trip and the dancing with locals felt little authentic. We could possibly have better chosen the Uros tour with Eddy. At the end of our stay they also helped us with organizing a driver from Puno to Yanque. To summarize, we loved our stay at this breathtaking place with Eddy and his family.

Amantani Lodge in Amantani biedt accommodatie met uitzicht op de stad, een tuin, een gedeelde lounge, een terras, een restaurant en een bar. Er is gratis WiFi. Had a great experience at Henry and Mariluz’s. The room was very cozy with a great view of the lake. Mariluz and Henry prepared lunch, dinner and breakfast for us and the food was very good. Henry took us to the temples of Pachamama and Pachatata where we were able to enjoy the views and the peacefulness of the island. The island is so quiet with amazing views that 24 hours felt way too short! We were also able to discuss with Mariluz and Henry to understand the life on the island, which was much appreciated and separates this experience from a regular hotel. Overall highly recommend to spend a night or more!

Uros Samarana Uta Lodge ligt in Puno en biedt een zonneterras en uitzicht op de bergen. Het meer van Titicaca ligt op 7 km van de accommodatie. We hebben erg genoten van het mooie uitzicht en de comfortabele kamer. Daarnaast vonden we het geweldig om van Cesar meer te leren over het leven op de eilanden. Het eten was lekker, ook voor vegetariërs!

Uros Qhantany Lodge bevindt zich op 5 km van de kust van Puno en is gebouwd op de drijvende eilanden van Uros. Het biedt accommodaties in het midden van het Titicacameer. What an incredible experience staying in this unique location! A family run hotel on a genuine floating island, Wilbur and Delia treat you like their own family. We stayed two nights and this really allowed us to enjoy the beautiful location and community. The room is beautiful, with embroidered hangings made by Delia. Very cosy bed with a view to die for, made better by the hot water bottles placed in the bed while you have dinner. Simply can't say enough how much we enjoyed this stay. Great breakfast and good value dinner.

We found deep relaxation and restoration over the 2 nights. The hosts Ruben and Anna were very accommodating.
