The dishes felt homemade which was exactly what I was looking for. Nothing fancy, but simple and honesty meals. The location is footsteps away from the beach and surf that allowed for novice surfers to get a lesson/surf the waves with the locals. The owner and staff made us feel so comfortable and welcomed. We arrived as strangers but left feeling like family.

Definitely a great spot if you’re looking for comfort and genuine hospitality.

You feel right at the middle of the jungle, we saw many birds, squirrels and stars at night.. yes there are insects but there is a mosquito net. Free scooters. Free shuttle from airport to the place. Staff were amazing (!) we got a welcome drink and they even made us free vegetarian dinner next to a bonfire. Breakfast was great and served to the balcony.
