We cannot offer enough praise for The Rebello. From the first moment, we received the warmest welcome and the utmost assistance at the front desk. We were helped to our room — an unexpected upgrade to a commanding river view — and introduced to all amenities which encompassed an all-inclusive mini-bar. We paid a visit to the restaurant/bar and were assisted by the most extraordinary Claudia for whom nothing was too much trouble. Our meals were prepared exactly to our liking due to Claudia’s willingness to communicate with the kitchen and the kitchen’s willingness to accommodate us. The next day, breakfast was similarly pleasing. We stayed only one night but that was enough to make us wish we had arrived much earlier. The hotel is a short walk to the dock for Uniworld and other river boats. Staff even offered to take our bags there for us! We love you guys at the Rebello!

He was happy to offer restaurant recommendations which no-one does any more. The morning receptionist asked us if everything had been OK during our stay. This is a first for us, a hotel which actually cares to ask if you had a nice stay. So well done. Our room was lovely, just big enough, with air con, a comfortable bed and a great shower. We also had the bonus of a small balcony from which we enjoyed watching the sun go down over the river. The room had a fridge, fancy coffee machine with two free pods, free bottled water and free toiletries. All very much appreciated. Location is great, it is right in the center of town. And while this means they do not have a car park, there is a large, free car park located just down the hill, below the hotel. You can park the car, then take the lift up, and walk two minutes to the hotel entrance. Very convenient. Breakfast was beautifully laid out and delicious. We throughly enjoyed bacon, scrambled eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes and toast, with great coffee. We would return here again just for the breakfast, and the lovely staff.
