Our recent stay at the Artic Colors Northern Lights Apartment in Projus, Sweden, was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the cleanliness and comfort of the apartment. The hosts were incredible—responsive, thoughtful, and always ready to assist. One particular incident truly highlighted their dedication. Our car broke down in the middle of the road, 32 kilometers away from the hotel. Ronnie and Samantha, the owners, went out of their way to pick us up and ensure we got back safely. Their kindness and the helpful advices we received throughout our stay made us feel genuinely cared for. The location of the hotel is perfect for witnessing the mesmerizing northern lights. It was a breathtaking experience that made our New Year incredibly special—a memory we will cherish for a lifetime. If you're looking for a place that combines comfort, outstanding hospitality, and an ideal setting for unique adventures, Artic Hotel in Projus is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!

Niehku Mountain Villa is gelegen in Riksgränsen, op 43 km van Narvik Museum, en biedt accommodatie met een fitnesscentrum, gratis privéparkeren, een terras en een restaurant. Exceptional service start to finish + setting and facilities to match. Dinner and breakfast experience were both divine. Cocktails were both unique and exquisite. We were only there 1 night to break up a longer journey, but intend to stay longer next time to enjoy the experiences they offer i.e. skiing, snow mobile excursions etc. Bonus = best gym I've seen in a hotel.

Arctic Gourmet Cabin in Kiruna biedt accommodatie met uitzicht op het meer, gratis fietsen, een tuin, een terras, een restaurant en een bar. The host, Johan, was really nice and hospitable and the location itself was lovely as it was remote and allowed us to gaze up at the aurora without light pollution getting in the way. Unfortunately I believe those were the only two reasons I was not entirely disappointed with my choice.

Situated in Jukkasjärvi in northern Sweden, IceHotel features rooms entirely made out of sculptured ice from the neighbouring Torne River. Warm rooms are also offered. We’re huge fans of this hotel. Over the past year, we’ve stayed three times and have experienced every type of room they offer. For adventure lovers, it’s simply fantastic. This time, we came especially for river rafting and gravel biking to enjoy Kiruna’s summer. Compared to the winter season, the atmosphere was much quieter, with a completely different vibe. It almost feels like you have the entire hotel to yourself—which is incredible. When it comes to the rooms, if you’re mainly there for the tours, any option will do. But if you’ve never stayed in an ice room, it’s an absolute must. Since we had already tried both the Deluxe and Art Suites before, this time we opted for a warm room(kamoos hotel room) , which worked perfectly. Before we stayed in a kamoos deluxe warm room and comparing to that, only significant difference was the comfiness of the bed. Pillows and mattress could be better. Also there was no mini fridge. Again, since we were out all day long for tours, -except the mattress- those didnt matter to us. Breakfast, as always, was fantastic. They’ve even added vegan bread—kudos to the chef, it was excellent. The dinner menu was the same as in winter: pricey, but absolutely delicious. Staff is amazing as always, we seen some familiar faces from our previous stays. Mostly they are working seasonal i guess but all of them are sharing the same passion. Overall, it’s a wonderful place both in winter and summer, but in my opinion, the real highlight is the tours. They are the perfect way to discover the North, immerse yourself in the culture, and experience the wilderness. So far, every guide we’ve had has been outstanding. I believe if we join few more tours, they will convince us to move to Kiruna :)
