Koh Chang is a beautiful island—not only is the island itself lovely but so are the people who live there. No exception at Lonely Groove: Lemon and her sister were so happy, kind and caring, their big smiles and warmth reminded me of being at home with my mom. I felt safe and comfortable my entire stay. I loved chatting to them before heading out to explore or after coming back from a long day in the sun. Some notes: the bungalows are further inland which means less foot traffic and noise from other hotels/bars; it's peaceful, quiet and clean; the beach is less than five minutes away (stop by all cafes/restaurants on the way to/from the beach!); my bungalow was modest and roomy, had all the necessities, including a mosquito net, and aircon didn't cost much more; hammock on the outside patio; watch out for monkeys who want to take your food! I would love to come back.

The property is non-smoking and is situated 2.7 km from Klong Yai Kee. I loved the location by a super sweet waterfall to swim in. The staff were very friendly. They had scooters for rent. There was a super nice breakfast buffet. It was very quiet.

Free WiFi is provided throughout the property and free private parking is available on site. It is located a short drive from Lonely Beach. Everything was fine, the hosts were very helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay there again.
