My small room was so well appointed with USB & power outlets, lighting, shelving, small desk & comfortable bed that I hardly noticed the small size. The downstairs intimate restaurant was always adequately staffed, again the service was perfect, the menu was incredible and the quality of food wonderful. A small shelter is available if required during Air Alerts, and once again, staff were quietly and reassuringly present when needed. Location - so close to everything you want to see when you first visit Kyiv - Maidan Square, St Sophia Cathedral, St Michael's church, wonderful cafes, the Metro, Freedom Square. There are issues with internet coverage in the city, due to security factors, so the hotel arranged my early morning taxi to the train station, and also re-confirmed it during an Air Alert, so that my travel plans weren't disrupted. Soundproofing was excellent.
