3H GRAND HOTEL Vũng Tàu ligt op 5 minuten lopen van Back Beach, en biedt accommodatie met een gedeelde lounge, een terras en een 24-uursreceptie. Er is gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. Front desk staff were very helpful, good command of English language, able to help with local bookings for example tours, bus. Extremely good value for money. I felt comfortable and extended my stay. They showed me the suite which was very nice and had a view towards the lake, nice space for office work. I am blue collar worker and tourist travelling solo, I was happy to accept the Double room with Mountain View, the room I the had neighbouring room to the suite and had a view towards the lake. Each room further will have less view to the lake, but im sure they're nice. Bathroom was good quality, clean and had a door to the bathroom to close. A fridge, nice wardrobe. Shower was good pressure water on 5th floor, hot, warm, and cold. Beach is about 400m, so one lap around the athletics track, walk carefully with very elderly citizens. Surf report at end of review. Not crystal water, but pleasant and warm, places for all ages to swim. Sand, good for making castles, mostly very clean, excellent for Vietnam. Food and drink Convenience store across the rood and local convenience vendors, there is lovely old couple next door who sell drinks, if you would like ice they also have that. You will need a translator app to talk to them, or a simple command of Vietnamese. Local food vendors within 200m. Pizza, burgers and variety of other western foods within 400m - 500m along the road away from the beach. I did not go to these places. Surf report. First week January 2025. 1.5ft, choppy and falling over the face, with a few good moderate faces for a short ride. Find a good break along the long beach face and enjoy the surf to yourself. Surf school within 1.5km.

The people working and living there are amazing and very friendly. I was actually very sad that I only stayed for one night, but staying there at all was worth it :) They had three unbelievably cute puppies and if I could I would have brought one home with me! Thanks for the cozy stay, the fun talks and the wonderful surfing class :)

I stumbled upon Anna during a spontaneous trip to Vũng Tàu. It’s not luxury like its name, but it’s something better: a place that feels like home.

Eden House & Coffee Con Dao ligt in Con Dao, op 13 minuten lopen van An Hai Beach en 3,3 km van Con Dao Museum. De accommodatie biedt gratis WiFi, airconditioning, een tuin en een terras. The owner of this homestay Trinh and her husband are super friendly people, they have been very helpful from the first day of our 5-night stay. Everything is well organised, we then know because the couple has been working in a hotel before. The breakfast is always good, the environment is great and clean. The laundry is done perfectly. We will definitely return if we come back to Con Dao.

Mijn kamer was heerlijk rustig en comfy, perfect om na een lange dag bij te komen. Het ontbijt smaakte fantastisch met vers fruit en vers brood, en het avondeten was een feestje: lekker gekruid en vers bereid. Ik kom zeker terug, voelde als vakantie bij familie!
