She went out of her way to suggest outings and make bookings for dinner/lunch making us feel instantly at home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and should we come back would stay there again.

Guests can use the hot tub and the open-air bath, or enjoy pool views. Hazel and Alan are fantastic hosts, it felt almost like family staying with them. The appartment is perfectly equipped and its facilities are spotless. We also enjoyed both breakfast and dinner (the latter may be booked separately on-site) and spent exceptional evenings with our hosts. We‘re definitely planning to return to Latjeskloof once we‘re back in South Africa.

Rocklands Eco Retreat - Adults Only is a recently renovated chalet in Cederberg, where guests can make the most of its open-air bath and garden. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Wupperthal Museum is 42 km from the chalet and Sevilla Rock Art Trail is 5.6 km away. Rocklands Eco Retreat is the perfect example of an ingenious use of space and the surrounding landscape to create an extraordinary escape filled with silence, solitude and exceptional scenery. Indoors is immaculately and stylishly furnished and the ample windows make you feel like you're outside when you're inside. Quite literally, this is a "room with a view" and, somehow, you experience a "melting into nature" that's difficult to describe. The outdoor shower is simply sensational - we'll have to try the outdoor bath next time.... The vistas and views are incredible and the places of interest in the surrounding vacinity are well worth visiting. For example, at the Hen House (across the road), we tasted (and procured) olives (lots), olive oil (lots) and wine (lots and lots). This Rocklands couple's destination was by far our best accommodation choice during our twelve-day road trip! Thank you to Simon and team for a perfect experience!
