Lovely room, lovely breakfast, stunning location and Christian the owner was brilliant. We used the Gasthof Schontal as a base for travelling to and from Kitzbuhel for a days skiing and the Hahnenkahm races. A half hour drive takes you to Kirchberg in Tyrol where there is free parking and a free shuttle train which takes you into Kitzbuhel itself. Perfect

Amazing hotel. The building itself is so special and the way the owners have renovated the place is truly remarkable. The hotel is situated in such a lovely town and we had a great view from both rooms. The rooms are super spacious and the design is very special. Breakfast was amazing!! We arrived the guesthouse early and the host greeted us with her dog, Charlie. The apartment comes with a kitchenette and common area, which attaches the two bedrooms. The host also helped us to arrange a taxi to Jenbach station as we had to catch the next day’s early train.
