John and Catherine are amazing hosts. We were invited by their to spend Christmas together and we were so happy to have this experience. The accommodation is very clean and comfortable. Especially the peace and nature around you is a highlight. By car you can reach wonderful beaches on the Sunshine Coast within 25 minutes. We can only recommend this accommodation and enjoyed the stay very much!

Everything - the location, country atmosphere including cows and sheep and the fire pit. The bed was so comfy too and the hosts were very friendly and accommodating. We were also happy to be able to bring our fur baby with us.

This is a separate house. I enjoyed the freedom and privacy. It's a bit far away from downtown, but has nice views. The garden is definitely something that I enjoyed exceptionally. Host is warm and kind. We got a guided tour for the beautiful garden, too.

Only a few minutes out of Montville, but you feel like you are far, far away from the rest of the world. It's beautiful and so peaceful, and I felt like I could stay there forever. The view of the mini- lake, complete with lily pads and frogs, from the bedroom and living room was wonderful. Absolutely recommend 100% if you are looking for an escape. I think it's particularly suited to romantic escapes! The owner/ managers take excellent care of you without being even slightly intrusive. Hot, fresh baked croissants hung quietly and unobtrusively on your door every morning for breakfast! So many thoughtful little touches in the cottage, including a freshly laid fire ready to light! And you don't even notice other guests! I particularly loved how many birds were on the property, whipbirds, kookaburras, currawongs, butcher birds, frogmouths (I saw 4!) Yellow tailed black cockatoos, sulfer crested cockatoos, pale headed rosella, ibis, doves, ducks to name a few... It's perfectly located to explore the sunshine coast hinterland, but if you were so inclined you could never leave the property for your whole stay! Just a note for anyone trying to work on holiday, there's no wifi and certain mobile sim cards will drop in and out of service, just as they do in the whole hinterland area. I'm not putting this in the category of things I disliked because it was not important to me.

Alan was the perfect host and went above and beyond to welcome and familiarise us. He even offered to drive us to local restaurants so we could relax and have a couple of glasses of wine. Breakfast comprised beautiful fresh produce with freshly baked croissants delivered in the morning too. Spotlessly clean and lovely. I highly recommend The Falls Montville.

Good location, warm welcome, for us and our dog, good facilities ( especially the double en suite room) comfortable bed and quiet at night. Great breakfast, We were reommended to try the local Thai fusion restaurant that welcomes dogs, and found it an ideal place to relax and eat good food.

Amazing location and such a quiet little cabin tucked away but still close enough to the animals to feel like it was a 'farm stay'. Perfect cabin for a romantic weekend away with privacy and the hosts were excellent. Would stay again!

The location was perfect and safe! The breakfast was absolutely outstanding. Fresh produce and varied and our son loved the breakfast and being welcomed into Chris and Debs home. We had one evening meal and it was an exceptional meal that we all loved and could not get enough of! I need cooking lessons from Chris! So appreciated it all!

Literally everything. The location is green and peaceful. Waking up to the bird song is priceless. The cottage was cosy, comfortable and super clean. Karleen and Dave have thought of and supplied everything you could need. From all you need for the perfect cuppa to shampoo/ conditioner and lush body wash. We thoroughly recommend Palmwoods Eco Retreat for a peaceful, comfortable and totally relaxing stay.
