We had an excellent stay at Playa Grande Lodge. The grounds are lovely with plenty of wildlife. We were really lucky as we even saw a sloth in the garden! Our appartment was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. The fact that the hotel is beachfront was a big bonus. We loved going for a morning walk on Playa Grande to watch the sunrise. And finally the hosts, Gianluca and Mia, are wonderfull: very welcoming and they gave us great tips for exploring the area. Would highly reccomend!

Perfect location, close to everything (national park, beach, restaurants, supermarket). Wonderful views from the bedroom terraces. Very nice swimming pool and amenities, with a beautiful park (with monkeys, all kinds of birds, sloths, iguanas...). Adorable owners, welcoming, always kind and helping with everything.

The location is great. A nice 15 minute stroll into town. It’s right on the beach and next to a lovely bar and restaurant. The staff are very helpful. The pool is super and the grounds are lovely. The rooms are good although upstairs with air conditioning and a bit more space is worth the extra cost, Marise is extremely helpful.

Perfect location and incredible chill enviroment - beautifull common spaces. Hammocks, lots of green and evening lights make holiday atmosphere. I met many inspirative people. Slots living around are also incredible experience. Receptionist has basic english but I really apreciate much that they always were open to help us using traslator with beautifull smile on face :) Pura Vida. Thnks much u made my staying in Cahuita - wonderfull !!!

The only bonus of the accommodation is the location: distance to the white beach - 12 minutes, 5 minutes to the bus station and 1 minute to one of the supermarkets but in an area is a lot of smaller shopping possibilities

Great location right next to the entrance of the National Park. Good, well organised kitchen for cooking your own meals. It was awesome to see a couple of monkeys run through the property as well as a sloth sleeping in one of their palm trees.

A nice house where we felt safe, with a very friendly host, comfortable beds and vans in every bedroom. The location is perfectly close to the national park and we even met the local monkeys and agoutis at the garden of the house itself.
