Our stay at Casa victoria has been truly amazing. The hosts, Yazmin and Mario, are naturally hospitable and accommodating. You can feel that they genuinely just love what they do and so they offer exceptional service without even trying. The accommodation is clean and tidy, with little details thought of to make your stay easy and comfortable. We didn’t need to ask anything of them as everything was already taken care of. Asking them what we could do in the area, they offered more possibilities than we had the time or money for. We opted for the abandoned goldmine trip, and spent the day with them both. It didn’t feel like we were with hosts as they were so genuine and friendly it really felt like we were just spending a day out with our friends. We really had the best time, and if we ever visit Costa Rica again, we will absolutely stay with Yazmin and Mario again.

Kristian has been very helpful in making our stay in Costa Rica the best possible. He gave us many great recommandations of very affordable activities and restaurants. The accommodation is great. It has AC, a free to use washing machine (hard to find!), a fridge/freezer and everything one might need to cook.

YES, you must go there. Great place with lots of activities. Travis took us out in the nice old life boat 'Nicoya Queen'. Went to the prisoner island and Travis made the best lobster we've ever had. Thanks :) The breakfast is excellent. Nice traditional Tico breakfast or best: Travis' special egg benedict! Not to forget: You can also borrow canoes and go on a trip yourself. Excellent value guest house in central sea front location. Vanessa the friendly host treated me to delicious coffee in the morning. Extremely comfortable bed and bathroom was right next to bedroom. Very classy and clean. Highly recommended for a stay in this underrated pleasant and peaceful untouristed seaside town.

The location is great if you want to take the ferry boat. Although Google maps showed us a lication far up the street the locals could tell us where it was and we found it imediatly. The receptionist was very kind and we could park the car inside. The beds are very comfortable.

This was a transit place for us as we wanted to stop for the night before moving on to Quepos. Orlando, the owner, is a VERY nice man. He was waiting for us when we got off the fairy. This facility is literally 2 minutes from the ferry terminal, so the location is great if you are in transit (absolutely not for a long stay). This place is very small, but it was very clean and offered a great shower, and a confortable bed. It also provides air conditioning which is a must, and a small fridge.

A good place to stay before or after taking the ferry. It has a nice pool, spacious rooms, and secure private parking. It's safe and has a motel-like feel. Conveniently close to the beach with plenty of nearby restaurants. Plus, there's a fridge in the room.
