This was one of our multiple stays in Costa Rica, and we were truly impressed. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-equipped. Above all, the Refugio concept — which includes a beautiful café and a cozy bar offering excellent food and drinks — truly exceeded our expectations. Unlike at other accommodations, we didn't have to eat Gallo Pinto for breakfast every day, but could instead choose from a wide variety of delicious brunch options directly from the restaurant/bar. The staff were friendly and always ready to help with anything we needed — from arranging surf lessons to recommending great local restaurants. We were mainly in touch with Augustin, who took excellent care of us. Overall, we were delighted with our stay and can highly recommend this place.

Muchas gracias to the owners from Hotel Casa Carlota. The Hotel is near from Tamarindo, but you may be need a car to go there. For us it was perfect far away from the trouble. But its close to a supermarket. The room was very clean and we had enough space. You also have a fridge and a coffeemachine. We used the kitchen outdoor in the cooking area for the breakfast. There‘s also a swimmingpool, which was cleaned everyday. The owners are very friendly and they also give us good suggestions. I visited BoHo Tamarindo with my parents in early December. We had adjacent rooms, settled in a quiet corner of the grounds facing the forest and hammocks. Johanna was an excellent host and was very friendly and responsive via whatsapp for any additional needs and questions later in the day. BoHo is in the PERFECT location in Tamarindo on the quieter and more scenic end of the beach closer to Playa Langosta. It is an easy walk anywhere to town but just the right distance from any craziness. It was the perfect place to relax in between activities and they were kindly able to make slight modifications to breakfast to accommodate my mom's "picky" appetite. Keep an eye out for the family of howler monkeys who live in the neighboring forest! We would also recommend booking a massage through the hosts, which my mom reviews as the best of her life. Another bonus was the resident dog, Iron, and cat (she might ask to come in your room!) If we return to Tamarindo we would not hesitate to stay here again!

The owners of the house were so friendly and always smiling. With a rental car, their location was amazing for us ( I cannot advise how it would have been without the car ). Very easy check-in and check-out. The room was like a small apartment: very big, a lot of light, a small fridge, spotless both the room and the bathroom ( nice shampoo, conditioner and soap ). Delicious breakfast prepared freshly by the hosts. The pool was amazing, clean and we could use it late in the evening for relaxation. I hope we will be back soon!

The property is so central to the main area. There is a fabulous pool area with an ice machine and great amenities. The room is a perfect size and very comfy beds. The staff were so lovely. My phones and purse were stolen and they did their absolute best to help me and even offered to stay another night free of charge to help in the situation I found myself in. Honestly my boyfriend and I had a blast at this hostel. The Personal are really helpfull and kind. Speacially the ones that we have the chance to meet. Like Mayda and the other tall guy that i cant remember his name. The place is really easy going. Kitchen always clean. Just a step aways from everything you need in tamarindo. Its really a chill vibe and I recommend 100%. The cleaning people are working hard to keep the place perfect and its work. Again we totally recommend.
