It is a very good place, if you look for an authentic village. It is managed by the local women association, and it is managed well. All is clean and well-kept. Good local food. The village is very quiet. The view is spectacular and the sunsets are idyllic. The village nightlife concentrates around a shop run by Antonio and it is a good place to meet the villagers. I had a great time at Kasa d'Vizin. The hotel is greatly located, surrounded by beautiful nature and a terrasse that gives you the feeling that you are in the middle of it. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Also the host was very helpful, kind and gave it a personal touch. The food was amazing, for a very fair price I got a three meal course that tasted awesome. Thank you!

Location is flawless - on a quiet street, but just off the main road. Aluguars stop virtually opposite the property and are very frequent, both going up the Paul Valley and along the coastal road. There is a little mini market just around the corner, open until 20:00. The owner is super - helpful and able to advise on all the best walks in the area. He suggested a much better walk than the one we initially wanted to do; he had maps and suggested places to eat. The room was very comfortable, clean, and the balcony was a nice bonus. The kitchen area is really nice, half al-fresco. All the staff were lovely and kind and very helpful. The internet works fine - there are 2 networks to choose from. I was also very grateful to have access to a guest fridge in the kitchen area. We regretted cancelling one of the 2 nights we'd initially wanted to stay and only staying 1. For bonus points, there is also a little 8-week-old puppy :)

The venue is impeccably clean, conveniently located, and the staff are kind and attentive, making the stay even more enjoyable. The staff was really nice and Judith helped out in organising a taxi from Porto Novo to the hotel, including an amazing tour through the island. Also we had a great time with Ivone who prepared very nice vegan breakfast. The hotel has a great terrace with a stunning view and the location is very nice.

I arrived just after the hotel opened, and everything was perfect. My room faced the ocean — I could even see turtles from there! 🐢❤️ The terrace where we had dinner is beautiful, with an amazing sea view and a peaceful atmosphere. It’s only about 4 km from Ribeira Grande, but it feels like a quiet little paradise. What really made the stay special was the couple who run the place — they made me feel completely at home. Their kindness and hospitality were truly exceptional. ""Morabeza" And the food… wow! The octopus (“polvo”) was absolutely spectacular — honestly the best I’ve had since arriving in Cape Verde and also breakfast was homemade. A perfect spot to relax, enjoy great food, and feel genuinely welcome. Highly recommended! 🤩

The apartment is very nice and has everything one can need. It is located in the center of Ribeira Grande, there are a lot of shops close to it and some restaurants as well.
