Friendly and welcoming staff. Location was stunning and decor and facilities were excellent. Meals were amazing, fresh, local produce. Loved the hotel's approach to sustainability. It was great to get a guest pass for local buses and it also offered discounts on entry fees.

Exceptional location just next to the Ramsau river and mountains. From the balcony you get to see amazing view of the mountains and nearby beautiful Bavarian style houses. It was warm and cozy inside the room. Nice that we had an exit to the balcony. The local tourist information centre was just in front of the hotel (over the river). Also, we noticed that many hiking trails that lead up to the mountains start very near this hotel. We will definitely come back in spring or summer to enjoy hiking and staying in Bergbach hotel. Moreover a pleasant surprise was the property host who spoke Latvian. He also spoke German, English and Russian. There was an option to get sauna and if we weren’t travelling with kid, would totally recommend trying because of the views you get to see from the sauna. Breakfast offered a wide variety of traditional German/Bavarian breakfast - sausages, two types of omelettes, bread, cheese, various types of meat. Also some sweets and cornflakes. Many juices and drinks (coffee,tea) to choose from. By the way, tea and coffee was for free also outside the breakfast hours.

The location is simply wonderful; with deers and fireflies in the meadow below our balcony, it felt like paradise. There is a great view on the mountains. Our room was neat and clean, and having the kitchen outside of the room was not a problem. The host was very nice and we would love to come back another time, partly to cuddle more with the cat ;)

The views from the room are simply awe inspiring. The staff with their warm smiles and friendly nature went out of their way to exceed our expectations. The dining options, though limited were prepared with great care and tasted lovely. The cakes made by them were especially delicious. Overall, it is a wonderful place to stay even for extended periods of time.

It was very nice and clean, staff were very helpful and friendly! The breakfast was great and you get a ticket for buses for free. The location was excellent right in the middle between Hintersee and Königsee also very close to Salzburg by car or bus. Loved it 😍

Excellent location with incredible views. The rooms were very comfortable. The host was extremely friendly, super accommodating, and made the best breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and are looking forward to returning in the future at some point. Come for the views and enjoy the morning breakfast.

Cozy design with attention to the details. The location is very comfortable for travelers by car. You can park infrinf of the house.The breaskfast is great. You have a lot of choices. We spent a very quiet night with a terrific view from our balcony. Check in went smonthly although we came late. The staff is very friendly and helpful with information. Highly recommended

Beautiful and quiet location, simple and homely atmosphere. Hosts were very helpful. They waited for us without any problems despite our late arrival (standing on the highway for 3 hours due to an accident).

For the price we paid I was satisfied with what I got. Friendly people, and although we arrived on Christmas Eve, the staff seemed very approachable and happy to share all needed information. Breakfast was of limited selection but OK for the price. We got upgraded to a room with a shared balcony, which had seating and a pretty great view of the mountains and river. Location was in the middle of the park which was great to get the most out of the day.
