Perfect location. Not so difficult to join through Malachi with 4×2 and very near to north entry to parque cotapaxi. Lots of charm with fireplace in living room .Nice room and efficient small bathroom (standard private room) . Restaurant with choice ,inventive , good and nicely presented. You can go around by foot and see the horses in freedom . Nice horse ride at good price even for beginners with splendid view on cotapaxi snows and condors.

Very cosy lodge in a stunning location. The staff were great, the food very wholesome. Sitting outside by the fire dressed in ponchos and just taking in the amazing view of Cotopaxi was something I will always remember. Mauricio the guide who took us up a Cotopaxi was incredibly knowledgeable and v patient!

Chilcabamba is a stunning and unique place to stay. The family suite was perfect for our needs and was very beautifully decorated. We enjoyed our meals in the lodge and hanging out in the common room and loft space. My 5 year old led us on many hikes around the walking paths on the property. One of our favorite memories was making s’mores outside with Cotopaxi in our view. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. We highly recommend staying here!

Staying at this hotel feels like being welcomed home by your family. Great value for money, spacious room with a beautiful view to Cotopaxi and excellent location, just around the corner from the main road with several restaurants nearby, are among its excellent features, but the breakfast stands out for the kindness and care of the lady who will set the buffet and prepare eggs a la carte for you and who will remind you of your grandmother almost inevitably. The hotel manager was just as kind and helpful. I wish we had stayed longer.

Everything was perfect. It was in the most beautiful location. Completely isolated and surrounded by nature. The staff were superb and so helpful, the food was incredible. I couldn’t recommend highly enough!

everything from the remarkable location with the view on the Cotopaxi, to the little fire that they lit on our room to stay warm. breakfast was good, dinner was awesome. this place was one of our favorite stops on our day down the sierra.

Beautiful property with friendly and welcoming staff. The food at the restaurant was amazing and we enjoyed spending our evenings in the common room by the fireplace. The staff were really helpful and let us check in early and check out late at no extra cost. Location is conveniently located to Cotopaxi, which we visited during our stay.

Secluded, stylish accommodation with unique location among volcanoes. Good service and tasty food. We enjoyed our time there a lot. I appreciated that Jessica helped us to arrange all the activities and transfers so everything went seamless.

The location is priceless, and the hotel is super quaint and very well arranged, with all details thought out. Dinner was a somewhat fixed menu (just a choice of main among 3 options), but was amazing and very reasonably priced.
If the morning is clear, get to breakfast early as only one table has views.
Think twice about leaving the fire on after dinner: the place is well insulated so you may indeed be too warm!

Great value for money! Everything is nice clean and working, made with good taste. Buffee type breakfast. Location close to Interamericana but still easily walkable to the centre. Host Paola speaks English and gave me good advice regarding bus transport. Laundry service available.

Great location to climb the ilinizas. There is a well equipped kitchen that you can use and the owners are very lovely and helpful. We left some luggage there during the mountain trip. We liked our stay there very much :)
