Fantastic all round and an amazing location. Lovely dinner and the same quality at breakfast. Really comfy big beds. Good showers with really hot water and log burners in the room for the cold nights. Highly recommend and I don’t understand why this place isn’t more highly rated.

Stove in bedroom is lit by staff in the evening- this was lovely!
Good social space with hammocks- however hostel was very quiet so no one else around.

The location is great and close to the lagoon. We booked 2 nights and changed our plans so we wanted a refund for the second night and they agreed. The food was nice.

The location was perfect, just opposite the Laguna. Breakfast and dinner are very good. Luckily we had water ,because other hostels doesn't.

Martita’s is a very cute hotel with a lot of charm. It was clean and cozy and is in a great location - only a few minutes walk away from the bus stop, restaurants, artesanal shops and hiking trails. The breakfast (included in the price) was great: eggs, bread, fruit, yogurt and coffee/tea/water. The dinner was also tasty, filling and reasonably priced. Our room had a space heater, but it can still be quite chilly inside so bring warm clothes!

I loved the location of this place right next to Quilotoa Lake. The included breakfast and dinner were pretty good, but I enjoyed the included meals at Llu Llu Llama better (in another town along the hike). I loved the fireplace in the rooms and how you could request for them to start a fire to warm up the room. This was so unique. As a solo female traveler I felt safe.

The location is perfect - across the street from the entrance to the path to the laguna. I was told there was a guard who would watch over our cars at night. It was very clean and I appreciated the ease of having breakfast and dinner included in the price.

Super friendly and helpful staff, also with food allergies+vegetarian. Good good and loads of it!
Location is literally 5min walk from the bus stop, 2min from shops/centre and 5min from the quilotoa Crater lake.
They were super easy with turning the stove on whenever you wanted, as its very cold.

I liked nothing NOTHING about this property!!! Location was misrepresented as next to the lake but was in fact in town center. We could not not eat the dinner as included because it was inedible and the room was very cold. The wood furnace was not working and they would not add wood. We didn't go to breakfast due to the cold temperature outside and the night before.
