This year, I have stayed twice at Letoh Letoh Bilbao (in May and in November), and I feel this place a true gem in the hotel scene of central Bilbao. New, beautiful, stylish, well-curated, super tidy and cozy, too! Plus the staff is nice, helpful and laid-back. The prices of the rooms vary according to the size and the season. In spring I had a bigger (double) room on the 2nd floor, and last week I stayed 5 nights in a smaller, super silent room on the attic. Both rooms were fantastic (but please remember that attic rooms may only have windows on the ceiling). Extra thumbs up for beautiful, spacious bathrooms & great showers. No wonder I've chosen Letoh Letoh again when going back to Bilbao in January 2026. :) There's also a great & trendy café downstairs where hotel guests can enjoy 1 coffee + 1 big pastry with 5 EUR. As a freelancer I often work during my travels, and the downstairs café offers perfect facilities for laptop work. Not to forget that the coffees and pastries (rol de canela, in particular) are really tasty. What's best, Letoh Letoh is PERFECTLY located! Zazpikaleak (Casco Viejo) subway station is just around the corner, although I always prefer to walk in Bilbao. For walking, the bridge to pretty Abando over the Nervión river is only a stone throw away. If you're tired, you don't even need to go elsewhere because the nearby streets in Zazpikaleak are full of pintxo bars and restaurants. After several visits to Bilbao, I have noticed that one of my favourite pintxo bars (Kapikua) happens to be opposite to Letoh Letoh, on the same street. Upon returning to the hotel, it's lovely to grab a few pintxos and a glass of top-notch txakoli (Gorka Izagirre) at Kapikua. In fact, I went there every day last week!

We rented a three bedroom apartment there. This place is located on the edge of the old town, only five minutes from Calle Ronda and 10 mins from plaza Nueva using the street lifts. It’s a super clean, comfortable and stylish place with a well equipped kitchen. We highly recommend it.
