We felt like we were transported to another time and place! Truly Magical! The garden so beautiful with views over the little village and the Dordogne river immediately below, the Castle immediately above, hot air balloons at dusk and a well equipped kitchen for us to cook the amazing local duck dishes! Our beautiful and attentive host Martine and owner Frederique, always so quick to reply with suggestions and helpful tips. And thankyou Martine for arranging our car space and greeting us on arrival and farewelling on our last 🙏🏻💖 a truly magical week of kayaking the Dordogne, exploring chateaus and incredible gardens, relaxing afternoons in the garden enjoying an aperitif and the beautiful endless twilight! Clean, bright , modern hotel in an old building in an excellent location. Good breakfast available as well as a bar and a nice little sitting area. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. They offered alternative arrangements for visiting various interesting sites. Marina , in particular, went the extra mile to find a great, affordable driver to take us to the gardens and some small villages. This was a great way to see these places which would have been otherwise impossible to visit.

An excellently managed and well-maintained hotel. The apartments are very spacious and lavishly equipped, including the kitchen. The room furnishings and patio furniture are excellent. The swimming pool (2) is heated and large. Plenty of sun loungers are available. Very attentive and friendly mangement and staff. The Wine bar offers a huge selection of cocktails beer and wine. Interesting that the there is no reception as everything is done online. Domme a picturesk small village has many nice restaurants if you want to go out and not use your own kitchen facilities.

Location: Perfect location right in the center of the town, easy walking distance to sites and restaurants. Although it was in a pedestrian area, our van was able to park just across to bring down our luggage. Breakfast: Excellent breakfast! The buffet selection was well-curated and of high quality. Room: Beautifully-designed rooms and thoughtful amenities. Comfortable beds and pillows. Everything was spotlessly clean, too. Staff and service: For us, the staff is the most valuable asset of the Manoir. Service was very personal. Everyone went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable and welcome. We were spoiled. :) From helping us with our many, heavy luggage, attending to our requests during breakfast, providing amazing assistance during a room service -- everything was done with a smile. Thank you so much to David and the rest of the team for making our stay memorable.

Beautiful setting in a side street very close to the centre. Comfortable sitting area and bedroom. Also included was a fridge and microwave. I asked for a kettle and the owner went straight to get one. The owner was extremely helpful and also showed attention to detail with making our stay comfortable.
