An exceptional small hotel with very modern and high quality interiors. The room (for a family of 4) was spacious and clean, the beds very comfortable and hotel itself was very peaceful. The staff were excellent, very helpful and accommodating and check-in / check-out was fast & simple. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of local options. We stayed after spending a long day at Puy du Fou, which is only 10 minutes away, so the location is excellent and was a perfect place to rest & recharge. We recommend the hotel very highly.

Beautiful location in quiet French countryside. Lovely, very characterful little timber "hobbit" unit containing a comfortable double bedroom and bathroom. Sufficient plugs for. devices, hot drinks. Sensibly, no indoor cooking facility. Decking with table and chairs. We had our simple cold breakfast in a small dining room. We ate at a busy Italian restaurant in Les Herbiers 5 minutes drive away and, in the other direction, it was a similar distance to Puy du Fou. We only stayed one night but perfect for a 2-3 day stay for the park. This is perfect for those who like quirky character in quiet countryside close to Puy du Fou.

The Gîte was spotlessly clean and really well set up for a family stay. It had everything we needed to use as a base for exploring the area, including a trip to Puy du Fou. Located in a lovely quiet neighbourhood, it was peaceful and relaxing. The kids especially LOVED the blackout shutters as it meant they slept better than ever!
