Without much exaggeration, you could say that this spectacularly furnished studio is a sight in itself. The centrepiece is the bizarre wallpaper, a mixture of rococo and twenties style. Everything is compartmentalised down to the last detail and functional at the same time. The entrance is both a little adventurous and a bit off-putting with all the pigeons. But once you have closed the door behind you, you are in a tiny paradise right in the city centre while being surprisingly quiet at the same time.

Good location for exploring Rennes and Bretagne. Very nice hotel, cozy feel but what really stands out is the staff. I have travelled the world on business for 40 years and stayed in many luxury hotels but the Balthazar Hotel is one of the better experiences I have had. Really good location, close to the train station and walking distance to city centre. The room was small, but clean and nice for a short stay. It was easy check-in and the use of the entrance code was really convenient. The managing team was very friendly and helpful, checked in a couple of times to ask if everything was fine.

It's great to sleep here - a very quiet location, yet very close to the city center. However, the best is the Thabor Park = and it is just 50 meters from the house. The house is in a closed area, you feel very safe.

Very good location, few minutes on foot to city center. Room was tidy and clean. There were kitchenette in room with refrigerator, microwave oven, and sink. Bed was wide and very comfortable. Very robust wi-fi network. On breakfasts breads were very good and orange juice was squeezed from fresh fruits. Nice and friendly hotel's cat sometimes walked around the lobby.

The location is perfect to walk around the city center. The room is clean. The bed is good but the sofa bed isn't that comfortable. There are choices for breakfast. We didn't take the parking lot and that was a bad choice since there weren't many places for parking on the street.

The location was perfect (10min from metro station and 2 minutes from bus station to go to city center and train station). Bed is comfy and the place is well kept clean. The locker inside the room are also secure (don't forget to bring your own locks). The staff are nice too.
