The room brings you back in the Indiana Jones movies and all those 1800 early 1900 movies and period. The apartment is i the addict of a house, it has two rooms and . It has a free public parking space (there are several in front of the building)- As it was a free day/national day we did not care about if we need to pay for the parking.... Out of the pictures you can see it is a special kind of apartment, but once you actually open it you enter the mesmerizing world that was prepared for you! A lot of antiques (from coins, old books, old type writers, even an old BB gun to furniture all is amazing). But then you have a modern kitchen with all the up to date devices (philips sense coffee machine, oven, washing machine, etc) all blended in such a way that you are still transported back in time but with the 2025 devices. Cool! . WIFI working, TV working , very modern kitchen. A family with 2 kids spent here 2-3 hours discovering the apartment, taking cool pictures. The idea of the apartment is that of an 1800 explorer tent in the middle of Africa /safari! I must say , we were impressed, we were blown away! So much fun. For one night stay , it took us a lot of fun time to explore the inside of the "tent"

The Chateau was stunning. We received a very warm welcome on arrival. The room was beautiful, elegant and spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely restaurants near by. All in all a wonderful stay and will be back.

We had a nice relaxing 2 nights stay here, before driving further through France. Our host was very friendly and helpful and even drove ahead of us so that we coud find our way to the large supermarket, nearby ( it was getting dark when we arrived) He speaks English fluently - I'm afraid our French is not as good ! The self catering studio was extremely comfortable and clean, with all the facilities we required. Bedding and towels are all provided. It was perfect for our little Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, as the patio doors open straight out to the garden and there are nice walks nearby and it was lovely to see the horses, geese and the owners friendly dogs too. The beds are very comfortable and the bathroom was really nice - it is also suitable, with a wide door to the bathroom, for anyone with mobility issues, and wheel chair users. Also suitable for those with a baby and young children as the studios are all on one level and easy to get in and out with a pushchair. A nice quiet area, yet not far from a big shopping centre and various sightseeing attractions.

The property was very homey and lovely. The breeze of cool air from the cave was so refreshing even though the weather was so hot outside around 38 degrees the time we went. We really had good nights of sleep. The couple running the Airbnb was so nice and friendly. They even dine with us and prepared a delicious dinner so don’t miss it. They both speak good English so that was really helpful all throughout our travel.

Brilliant location View of chateau and river Courtyard was delightful Charming Character building that has been loving restored Helpful staff Fun pool Bar drinks and snacks available when we required them and not ridiculously priced. Attic room was cool and large. We are a very tall family and being in the eaves of the building was not a problem in this room! Shower was outstanding. Bed was large and comfortable We had a very enjoyable stay.

Really great place to stay to break up a long journey to the South of France from the UK. We stayed in a family suite for 2 nights which had plenty of space for a family of 4. The owners are really friendly and the house is beautiful. We also enjoyed the swimming pool and breakfast.

We have a lovely room on the top floor looking out to the Chateau de Saumur. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The location was excellent. It was what we were hoping for.

The check-in was very easy and the staff very friendly. Really liked the location, easy walking distance from the city centre and also easy to walk to the benches on the other side of the Loire for a great view and a picnic. If you went out very early or late you got your own code to enter any time you liked.
