Everything about Cwmbach Lodge is exceptional! The room, the location, the breakfast, and especially the hosts. I travel the UK extensively and stay in many places but without a doubt, this is the best stay I've ever had. There's even free EV Charging onsite! Will definitely be returning!

Location worked well for our visit to The Royal Welsh Show. Enjoyed a riverside walk and a lovely supper at The Hart Inn round the corner. Host very welcoming and helpful. Comfortable and spotlessly clean.

The location suited us very well for our visit to the area. Hay on Wye is a short drive away, as well as the garden centre at Three Cocks, and it is not far to drive to Brecon either, where we went for Sunday lunch. The information folder recommended a short walk from the cottage and we enjoyed that, also walking to Foyles for a drink one evening. We were a group of 3 friends, the cottage was well equipped for our short stay. The cottage is very tastefully decorated.

Location on National cycle route 8 led to booking a one night stay but this pub was very comfortable with really pleasant and helpful staff and providing an excellent breakfast. We also enjoyed a great meal in the evening and joined in the quiz night with the friendly ‘locals’.

Great location, right by the river Wye, nice terrace to use literally on the river bank, good parking on site. Quiet location but with several eating out options within minutes walk. Owner responded to questions quickly and was very helpful. Very clean room. Nice touch to have a fresh milk bottle in the mini fridge waiting for coffee and tea instead of the usual UHT pods elsewhere! And canoe centre next door which was a perfect day out.

Quite the perfect place for two rather tired visitors to check in for a couple of days. The location sells it all by itself, with a panoramic vista towards the Black Mountains over a lovely garden with lake. Within easy reach of Brecon Beacons. Location excellent. Close to places we wanted to visit and indeed visited. Tina & Dave are very welcoming hosts and surely have a wonderful establishment. Breakfast room is very quaint and cute and the views are really something to behold.
Comfortable bed and bathroom + shower facilities in the room we stayed 100% super!!

Beautiful peaceful location, attractive converted barn buildings and very pleasant helpful staff. My suitcase was dropped at the hotel prior to check in time, as I was attending the Hay Festival that day ( as I had done for several days prior ) and moving out of a friend's house that morning. Staff kindly put my suitcase in my room. Comfortable bed and armchair in room. Spotlessly clean bathroom. Good choice of breakfast items.
