You are staying on a working farm and it's a fabulous experience. Viv is a brilliant host and you look down over the village and views are spectacular. You aren't simply buying a bed here you're getting an experience. My daughter got to feed the lambs and the chickens and dogs were frequent visitors. We used it as a base for Highland wildlife park. It was ideal. Brilliant experience

A staff member named Isla was outstanding: always smiling, helpful and proactive. The food was delicious. The hotel decor was traditional with comfort in mind. There was a good buzz in the bar and dining areas. I had a great, hot shower with good pressure and the bed was clean and comfortable.

The location was excellent, right in the middle of Newtonmore, a wonderful part of the country. The building the apartment was within was an impressive older stone built house with some fine period features and very attractive. Lots of parking out the front. We had arrived by train but borrowed a small car for the week. A fine entrance lobby and wide ‘stately home ‘ stairs. There was a working lift though, handy as we were on the second (3rd level) floor at the top of the house. We even did a clothes wash in a built in washing machine. A large built in cupboard revealed all sorts of domestic appliances. We found a clothes horse, iron and ironing board. It really was a home from home!

Location is good, it was clean and almost everything was there. Blankets were also provided. Just for sleeping it was good as we were four with kids. Lower beds were not very comfortable. Bathroom was clean and tidy.

Amazing. I don’t think we have ever had more thought of stay before! Everything you think you might need on your holiday was there! Excellent location, massive house, private drive for a car. And dog friendly! Absolutely happy with our stay. 10 out of 10!

Good location, easy parking, v reasonable bar prices, nice staff. We were also impressed with breakfast set up-linen tablecloths & freshly prepared cooked breakfast-a pleasant change from lukewarm cooked items.

Despite appearances on the outside, (looks like an old motel), we found the rooms were modern with a nice bathroom and a large, comfortable bed. Easy access to car park from the room we stayed in. Quiet location. A busy place with coach tours but the breakfast arrangements were efficient. You got to select from a breakfast menu.

The food was excellent food and the staff were pleasant. I also liked the swimming pool and the bar. Good location to base yourself at for hillwalking/hiking.
