Very good location and I was able to get a pedicure next door when I went to pay for the stay! Brilliant. Daniel was very helpful and friendly. I loved being able to walk to and from Sendero de Bosque tropical las Escobas, it is stunning! Well worth the visit. Mona’s cafe was recommended to me by Daniel - I liked it so much I went back every day (the mokka & mokka frappe were both really nice)

It’s a big hotel and in the room you can cook it you want, very clean too. The pool are is big and there ir a ton of things you can do, playing sports or having a drink with a great view.

The Camp is located at a wonderful small beach, surrounded by palm trees and mangrove forest. The whole small camp is designed were nicely and made with a lot of love. It has a very nice chill/kitchen area with a large table to get together with the other guests and volunteers. We could join the family dinner and breakfast for some extra money, which was very tasty. We did rent kayaks and went to the mangrove forest. The host Laurence helped a lot in preparing the trip and gave us a lot of information to arrive to the camp and go to Livingston. She was very helpful and kind as the other guest were. I would recommend to stay at least three nights, but a few days longer would probably be even better.

This hotel is PERFECT. Ismal the owner has a really good vibe. I felt at home, their is all you need here. The morning view is splendid. I had a bed with a view on the water. I could not have dreamt of something better for my last days in Guatemala. I recommande STRONGLY this hostal. You will not regret it.

The best reason for staying here is the manager, Giovanni. He is a bilingual jewel. Great with arranging trips up the Rio Dulce but even more describing the history of the area.

The hotel is run by Gershon, Martha, and Ingrid. They are really friendly and help you when you need anything. They are the only locals who run a hotel there, all other hotels are run by foreigners or from the city, personally it made the experience better The food is good and portions big. The room is big and had WiFi, the beds are comfortable. The hotel is basic, but you are in the jungle. The problem with te toiletseats will be solved soon 😉 The hotel is located at the Rio dulce River and you can enjoy the sunset at the hotel or just take one of the kayaks.. We loved this place. The staff, bungalow and common areas were amazing as well as the family dinners. We also appreciated that there weren't too many guests as it made the stay more intimate. We will be back soon!
