Fantastic, superb nice staff, beautiful garden, we had great time. Food cooked and served by the chef was incredible. Photos does not show the beauty of place. In reality swimming pool and garden are more wonderful. Location quiet with view to the see. Direct from villa see coast possible snorkling, to see underwater coral flowers and colourful fish.

This is the best villa we have stayed in. The location was tranquil but close to the beach and a couple of restaurants. There is a cook to make meals and they will help you get items from the shop. The villa is exceptionally clean and well maintained, absolutely stunning. Very comfortable stay.

Accommodation on northern part was great. Price is amazing and quality is even better. Srii - owner will take care of your every wish! Mean everything! Restaurants are also good, and from things like scooters, laundry, trips, broken phones and anything you can think, they will want to solve it for you.

Tranquil, private bungalow, surrounded by gardens and shade, a relatively spacious deck area with plenty of lounge choices, including hammock, and a raised platform slightly removed from the main house, where you can dry off after dipping into the pool. A perfect oasis, just down the road from Brahmavihara Arama, and a short scooter ride to Banjar hot springs. Koming the manager cooks delicious food and took me on a local walk through the small farms with plentiful fruit, nuts, spices and veges. There is a double bed and a single bed. Great for solo travellers, couples, or small family. The house is owned by an expat, and managed by the family who own the land so it feels very homely. One of my favourite places in Bali 🙂

Joglo Apong is lovely! It's super private and right on the beachfront, which was perfect. We spent all our time between the beach and the swimming pool. The joglo itself is beautiful, with high ceilings, wooden floorboards, a ceiling fan, and air conditioning—a big, airy, bright, cool space! The big glass concertina doors open directly onto a deck that leads to the beautiful swimming pool. The garden is amazing too, filled with lots of bright, colorful flowers. We had a very relaxing time!

When we first arrived, the entrance looked a little different from the photos online, but the moment we stepped inside, we were welcomed into a beautiful home. Everything you could possibly need is there. The living room is spacious, with a lovely covered terrace and a wonderful swimming pool to relax by. The bedrooms are also large and equipped with good air conditioning — perfect after a warm day exploring. But the most special thing about Rumah Riang is without a doubt the incredible hospitality of Putu, Ria, and their family. From the very beginning, they made us feel completely at home. Although there’s a well-equipped kitchen, Ria prepares the most delicious Balinese meals — both lunch and dinner. She’s a fantastic cook, and nothing is ever too much for them. Every meal was different and full of authentic local flavors and made with so much love and care. During our stay, we also joined The Mayong Cultural Walk, which is an absolute must-do! Putu takes you on a fascinating journey through the rice fields of the Mayong Valley, passionately explaining everything that grows there — not just rice, but also durian, palm trees, and the intricate irrigation systems that make Balinese agriculture so special. His deep knowledge of plants, farming, and local culture is impressive, and the way he shares it — full of humor, energy, and great storytelling — makes the walk both fun and educational. He also loves to connect local words and traditions to other languages and cultures, which we Dutch visitors found especially engaging! After the walk, we were treated to another delicious homemade lunch prepared by Ria — authentic Balinese flavors at their very best. We stayed at Rumah Riang for two nights and got a beautiful glimpse into the life of a local Balinese family — full of kindness, warmth, and hospitality. It’s an experience we will never forget.

The location is a very nice and quiet spot on the shore of the sea. The hotel has its own restaurant with excellent food, which is a plus. Dining on the hotel terrace was a beautiful experience while enjoying the sunset. Our room was exactly like in the pictures from the booking. The hotel personnel made our stay enjoyable, always promptly responding to our requests, while always being friendly with a smile on their faces. We would definitely recommend this property if you want to find a nice and relaxing place to stay in North Bali.

Hotel in a great quiet location and perfect sunsets.The time spent here was amazing. The hotel arranges trips to the nearby area. I recommend the morning trip to see the dolphins, it was amazing. The snorkeling right in front of the hotel was also great. I also recommend to book the hotel with breakfast. Perfect stuff. Recommend.

The location was perfect for us, down on the beach and away from the hustle and bustle, but not too isolated. The meals were delicious and the outdoor restaurant/meals area was idyllic. Nice, clean pool and plenty of shady spots. Staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble.

Location was awesome, price was great value, staff were courteous and helpful. Garden needs a gate to stop the beachwear sellers coming right into the property when the ladies were in their bikinis. Property equipment was good, but its old, the fridge noisy, TV not working correctly, AC needs refurbishing.

Intimite and unique experience with first class location and views on the quiet and less busy side of Bali. Staff is attentive, professional and super sweet, restaurant provides some of the best food we had in Indonesia and the overall experience was just perfect.
