Great location - middle of Athy, overlooking the square (or other side). Central and close to water (boat rides), train station (5min), all sightseeing. Staff super friendly and immediate communication, flexible with arrival time, responsive. Room exactly as in the picture (we had double two single beds) - very comfortable mattress, nice bedding, soft clean carpets. Very nice basic bathroom. Kettle and teas/ coffee/ water. Delicious breakfast next door included (loved it - great coffee, yummy Irish Breakfast, veg options). Highly recommend for all who want to be in the middle of action in Athy! And bar downstairs as well if you want to feel very Irish ☘️ . Loved it! Came for a wedding and stayed all next day just enjoying the town! Very friendly places. Highly recommend. Not luxury but exactly what we love and need when we travel with my son!

The hotel and grounds were lovely with just a short drive to Athy town The staff were in general lovely Shirley on reception did her best to sort out the embarrassing check in regarding EXTRA charge for children who were booked to stay in a family room. Amy and Laura so genuinely lovely made our stay as lovely as possible God blessinga to all the staff at this hotel and Thank you for a lovely stay

Location was great.Breakfast was delicious ..I'm a vegetarian and I got exactly what I asked for. Staff are more than helpful and very very friendly and kind. Sharon, Amanda and Levi , and Breda or Bridget my apolgies for name mix up , even got to hear Levi's beautiful singing voice,🥰and the kind chef who I didn't catch his name cooked a lovely hot breakfast at the time we requested. I would return again in.the future.

Really good staff - in the pub/restaurant/BnB. All really helpful and nice. Was checked in immediately despite pub being very busy. Perfect location with short 15 minute drive to Kilkea Castle for wedding. Good TV with access to streaming sites. Food in restaurant delicious. €5 for a Guinness.

The location was perfect. as i have mobility issues everything was within walking distance plenty to see and do, breakfast was amazing the staff were pleasant, helpful and check-in was great no waiting around and we were shown to our room right away .

Location great. Staff were something else, they were so happy in their jobs and were very friendly to each other. Owners very attentive too. Food served all day plenty to choose from. Music was very good, both nights. Stayed for 2 nights including new years eve here. Will return.
