What a find Paddy n Canal Home Stay was. Robin and Rino are great hosts - hospitable and welcoming. They provide a very useful list of everything you need to know while staying there - right down to directions to the house in Malayalam for a tuk tuk driver. The house is spotlessly clean, very comfortable and in a lovely peaceful location beside a canal. I really enjoyed my stay there. Highly recommended.

Very charming hostel in an old colonial style building. Rooms are spacious and very clean. There is also a common room and a nice garden. The hosts are super friendly and helpful. They arranged a fabulous backwater canoe tour with local food. Would book it again anytime.

Its very conveniently located - few steps from the beach. And you feel like at home. Hosts are very nice - and really helpful - treating you as part of family - helped me organize my bus ticket, and made me a local dessert that I couldn’t find in any restaurant, and we spent evening chatting on a terrace. I arrived late , but the hotel staff was concerned and stood in front of the villa entrance to greet me. Breakfast was great. Dosa coffee…everything was great taste. Owner gave me some home made bananas as a gift. I ate these on the boat in backwater. Taste was so grear!!! Thank you for hospitality.

The whole experience was blast! In our opinion the boat we were at was better than many others we saw because it had and open rooftop where you could see this paradise while the breeze refreshes you. We tried new Indian foods, although a bit spicy they were excellent. Staff was amazing and very helpful and they offer you the possibility to do an excursion in a smaller boat to reach the smaller canals for a little extra money. WE LOVED IT!

This homestay was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Right on a lovely beach where we could watch the fishermen come and go. We loved how peaceful it was and how clean the beach and area were. The hosts gave us great suggestions for a meal out, which was about 10minutes away and beachfront. We also enjoyed the meals we had at the homestay, particularly the Kerala style breakfasts. This homestay is so well cared for and the hosts are a really kind and generous family. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it to others.

The Snehatheeram Homestay is a haven of serenity, yet perfectly located to access the many amenities of the bustling town. The host family are extremely hospitable, kind and helpful. Breakfast was a joy with fresh juice and unlimited supplies of local food, toast, jam, fruit and tea/coffee. Nothing is too much trouble for the hosts who aim to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Our room was spotless. We extended our stay to five days because we were so comfortable.
