An absolute hidden gem in North Kerela. Literally had a pristine private paradise beach all to myself, for normal guest house prices. Staff were always available, and helped with everything, from food to transport, even sorting out a once in a lifetime trip to see the Theyamm rituals. This is the real unspoilt India, away from the usual tourist traps - come if you want a quiet, peaceful and authentic experience, but please just don't tell everyone!

My wife and me stayed 2 days at Monsoon Apartments in the 3rd week of October. I would surely say that this apartment is the best one I have ever stayed in India. We had an apartment upstayers with balcony, we had a good view of the surroundings with greenery. The apartment was impressively clean, every bit of it. Aircondition in the bedroom functioned very well. In addition there were fans in the bedroom, sitting room and in the kitchen. The spacious kitchen was fully equipped with all the utensils. There was a good fridge, microwave and kettle.We could easily prepare our breakfast and all other meals. Hot water was always available in the bathroom. The location was only a few mintues ride from the center of the town. One could get an autoriksha and easily get to the apartment. The location was in a very quiet side street. That was an additional plus. No traffic noise. We felt perfectly safe too at the apartment. The owners both Adnan and his wife spoke perfect English. Adnan, a polite gentleman, was always available at the spot. He was always willing to help his customers in the best way he can. In October it rained sometimes. In our case, it went well too, as we enjoyed the rains with its calming effect.

Overall, the location and homely atmosphere were created by the owner and staff. I ended up staying two weeks during monsoon season, which made it difficult to get out and about. Staff are more than happy to organise meals and transport when required. Good internet speed and smart TV provided ample entertainment—plentiful hot water and pressure in the bathroom.

We had a lovely stay at Monsoon Apartments. The place is spotlessly clean and has all the amenities. The owners are very hospitable and go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. We were also lucky enough to taste some delicious traditional food cooked by Reema. Our kids too had a lovely time playing in the garden outdoors. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing, peaceful and well looked after stay!

Vikas was available online for assisting us until location and Rakesh did surprise us by his exceptional hospitality. Stay was cozy and calm with big clean rooms (I loved your towel selection 😄). One will except a casual cold breakfast as an "inclusive" package. You will be surprised to see 2-3 varieties of dishes home made and hot served. Worth recommending for business and family travellers.

This place is very well maintained...Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed,Staff was extremely friendly.Home cooked food was yummy. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Very warm and helpful staff especially the lady at the reception. They accommodated my early checkin without any hitch and also arranged breakfast earlier than the usual time as per the exam schedule for my daughter which was a huge help for me. The hotel also arranged taxi service which was fairly priced. Location and food was also good, service overall is very good.
