Good location. Easy access and parking. Very clean. First room was unsuitable, Staff very quickly moved us and second room was very good. Book a room overlooking the dam. Clean. Access to tea/coffee station and lounge.

The location was so picturesque and very calming and relaxing. It was lovely to be close to the sea and visit with the horses. We also had fresh milk waiting in the fridge for our arrival, which was delicious and a lovely welcoming touch.

It was a dream location. Small but cosy place. You can lie down in bed admiring the nature. Great short walks outside the cottage. Very nicely done.

the host is very friendly. The accommodation is huge, there is a big kitchen, with lots of dining tables. everything you need for a nice meal. bathroom very tidy. we had the accommodation for ourselves, no other guests. the location was quiet. we enjoyed our stay very much and can recommend it!

We had a wonderful stay, the location was a perfect stop betqeen Reykjavík and Akureyri, allowing us to enjoy sightseeing in the area. Location is near the beautiful hill formations in Vatnsdalur and near by is the Laugarbakki market with lots of beutiful handknitted items.
We had everything needed at the accomodation, it was wonderful and cozy after a long day spent in nature of surrounding area. Very clean and cozy!

The room was clean and equipped with basic kitchenette.
The bathroom was clean and comfortable.
The location is quiet (but because it is in the middle of nowhere, it is only convenient for a stopover).
The room code was sent to us on time, that is, 2 hours before check-in (although the messages we had received previously said that we should call upon arrival at the apartment to get the code).
At 2 kilometres, there is a gas station that is also a restaurant and operates from 8:30 to 23:30.

The apartment was big, the kitchen together with the living room were clearly divided from the bedroom. The location was good, the starting point to visit peninsula Vatnsnes famous for seals colonies, neat road 1.

Location is 1km to nearest supermarket, so driving may be better. The quietness and peaceful surroundings. You see sheep’s and horses right in front of your cottage.
We felt cold even though we turned up the heater. When I sent a message through the booking site, they were very fast to respond and sent us a heater straight away. So we had a warm and toasty sleep.

I had a lovely stay here. Very comfy bed, beautiful views, nice kitchen and bathroom and very, very quiet. A real Icelandic experience which I am so happy to have experienced. The host was very welcoming and friendly and told me a lot about sheep farming in Iceland. Just be prepared for a fairly long gravel road. It is in the middle of nowhere.
