It was perfect for my stay, near my friends house, and the shop was very convenient. It is in the center of the village and tourist information and bus stop, which is helpful for planning trips out. Also not far from Sauris Lake whuch is a good spot for photos.

It was clear from the moment of our arrival at Boton d'Oro that we had chosen the right place for our Christmas holiday. Giovanni and the team were extremely hospitable and friendly; also during our stay, they checked multiple times whether everything was alright, or we needed something. We occupied three rooms in total, two double rooms with spa bath, and one superior double room. The two first ones were located in the same cottage, where our breakfast would also be served, and where we would spend time during the evenings by the chimney. The superior double room, was located a few meters further down a path, in a separate cottage. The rooms were spotlessly clean and very warm (a luxury nowadays even in expensive resorts). Every morning the very kind and polite lady (whose name unfortunately we forgot to ask) was greeting us and preparing our breakfast with attention and care. It is hard to not relax and immerse yourself in the peace of this place. The views from Boton d'Oro are stunning; the sun kisses the hill on which the property lies from early in the morning - one could easily spend the entire day admiring the surrounding peaks, or nights admiring the stars and the infinite sky. During our stay we dined several evenings in the restaurant of the farm, where we were utterly satisfied every single time. The politeness of the staff, the quality of the locally sourced ingredients, and the preparation of the dishes were all on point. Our holiday was truly magical, we will think fondly of it for a long time to come, and hopefully we will return there again someday!
