The apartment is great - every detail has been thought through, the quality of the finishes is outstanding but it's the view that we will remember the most. The apartment is high up a cliff and you feel in the middle of nowhere but yet it's an easy walk to the nearby beach or a bus to Shimoda. We enjoyed the BBQ facility for a cooked breakfast as well as the sauna after a long day walking. We didn't see much of the staff during the stay because there was easy self check in but when we accidentally left something behind in the room they were quick to help arrange for it to be sent to our next stop. We would love to stay again.

The staff was very helpful and supported us phoning with the local ferry as our japanese is not that great. Also the place seems very kid friendly which is rarely seen. We felt very welcome. The owner even offered us an emergency stay as our ferry was cancelled! Would recommend this guesthouse and we will definitively come back.

Stayed twice at this little family hotel. Love the location and all the little rituals the owners have. For example, when checking out you can choose two of over 15 variants of photographs of the local nature that the owner takes himself. Since we stayed as a family, everyone got to choose two and now we have a great collection of photos of these beautiful area. The hotel is comfortable, clean and has it’s own small onsen. Thank you for the hospitality!
