We were there for 2 weeks and loved it. It was a very nice family hosting. They involved us in activities like cooking classes. Friendly kids came over every day to play soccer and volleyball with us. We harvested delicious peanuts with the locals. We biked around the island and went to the beautiful Buffalo Beach. We watched amazing sunsets every night. Stay here if you're ready to live like a local!

Perfect stayed! New room with air conditioning and clean room with bathroom inside, hot shower. Nice sunset & river view from balcony. The location close to restaurant, bar, shop walk from ferry 5 mins. They also have the restaurant and the food was delicious fresh and clean, staff very friendly and helpful happy to help us. This was the best stay I’ve had while traveling down through Laos from Luang Prabang. Totally recommend it to everyone! Alex and Leymon are super friendly. they even helped arrange a ride to Don Det and were quick to reply to messages before I arrived. Especially, Leymon’s Asian food was amazing, honestly as good as what I’ve had in the actual countries. Can’t wait to try it again! Between meals we played cards, chatted, and hung out with their dogs and cats—such a chill vibe. The room was clean and comfy, with a soft bed, towels, and shampoo. The shower has an open ceiling, so you might notice it when it rains, but it didn’t bother me at all. Loved the whole experience!
