This was a great place for us to stay for a night before visiting the famous Ambuluwawa tower. The host is great and did everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The room is comfortable and was designed very nicely with recycled products. Very cool! Would totally stay here again :)

Quiet but close to the city. Very well equipped, you have all what you need and even more. Caring host, which lives just across the street. I forgot some clothes and they sent it to me by train the same day. Incredible good service! Very good breakfast!

We had a wonderful time with Alexandra and her husband. They were very friendly and welcoming, and the food was excellent. The rooms were clean and cozy. This accommodation is the perfect starting point for visiting the Ambuluwawa Tower. After a two-hour hike, we reached the top, but it can also be accessed easily by TukTuk or car. The interaction with our hosts was open and uncomplicated, and they shared many interesting stories and facts about Sri Lanka. We also had the opportunity to pick our own soursop and pepper in their garden. We can highly recommend this place and would gladly stay here again!

Very nice ambiance. Old kolonial style but very neat and well maintained. Only 5 rooms, so very cosy. Large rooms with nice beds. Great view on the surrounding hills. Very kind personel. Fast responding to my changing plans and questions. Good price for a nice rice and curry dinner.

Nothing short of exceptional! A scenic route to the hotel and a scenic location! Was met by the hotel managers and owner with respect and kindness and can not fault their customer service. The rooms were spacious for 2 people and there were plenty of area to walk around to enjoy the garden, pool, and the view of the mountains. Breakfast was delicious and dinner was sensational from the rooftop balcony. The perfect quiet place to stay if you're travelling to Kandy as the drive from the hotel is under 30 minutes.

The owners were very nice, they helped us in trouble when we had a flat tire and needed to arrange a train ticket. The food was excellent. Everything was negotiable. Great location for a trip to the tower. The house was very clean and the room equipment was good, we used the fan on warm days. There is a train station and lots of shops nearby. The whole stay was absolutely great.

Great restaurant and hotel near to the Ambulawawa observation tower. The owner is very polite and helpful, he shows us around and shows everything, he also cooks great. We are very pleased, there is a family atmosphere and many very nice decorations handmade by the owner, which gives this place a unique atmosphere. Here is private parking for our tuk tuk as well. If you are going to the observation tower, this is a great place to stay.

We had an awesome room here! The bed was great, the shower room was amazing and we even had our own little porch way. Our host was great - nothing was too much trouble and he's a fine chef that's for sure! We 100% recommend this gorgeous little place to stay at. We were heading off early before breakfast time, and we even got a little packed up breakfast to take with us - which was just so kind. Highly recommend the food too - our dinner was just delicious - and we even were able to wash it down with a lion beer. Top place.

Good location next to Ambuluwawa Tower. Great big and cozy room with outdoor seating Patio. Amazing and rich breakfast. Also Diner in the restaurant is awesome. Host is super friendly and helpful in all matters.

Dulip’s place is a great spot to stay if you want a layover and close place to sleep to get to the Ambuluwawa tower. The hotel rooms are clean and beautifully designed. Dulip makes a massive and authentic Sri Lankan breakfast. Very filling and great value. He was very helpful in informing us of places to see around Sri Lanka as well as arranging any transport you need. You can’t beat the price point for value when looking for a place to stay.

Such a nice little place with perfect location for going to ambulawawa tower! The owner helped me arrange a tuktuk very early in the morning to see the tower, and drove me to the bus later the same day. Cannot recommend enough! Had dinner there which was great and also breakfast was super delicious and huge, kept me full most of the day.

A very cozy place with a very attentive owner. The installations correspond to those in the booking.com advertisement. good cleanliness and location. The owner surprised us with a delicious and large breakfast I would repeat without a doubt recommendable place

Dulip is one of the most kind persons we met on Sri Lanka, with his creativity he made the hotel a lovely looking place to stay. The dinner and breakfast where also excellent (very tasteful). We would recommend everybody to stay at La Pinchi!

The room is very nice.the room had a very comfortable big bed.bathroom is very clean.the shower has a hot water. The food is great,the breakfast is really good. shashika is very friendly. This guest house is located good location . Very close to gampola town and ambuluwawa tower. Extremely friendly hosts - a lovely couple! They picked us up and dropped us off from the train/bus station, excellent communication via phone/messages. They offered us tea and biscuits when we arrived. They offer many services including taxi to ambuluwawa Tower, laundry, cooking classes etc. the house is very clean and the rooms are spacious and comfortable.wifi is very speed. Our room included a delicious breakfast freshly prepared. Thank you so much for a lovely stay . Everything was great

The owners are very helpful, kind and relaxed! They arranged a motor bike for us to rent and cooked a nice dinner. The area (outside city centre) is quite green and quiet, nice to relax a bit and visit the ambuluwawa tower. We really enjoyed our stay

The location is very convenient to access to town food is nice and tasty and a lot of natures owner is very friendly and kind. when I was sick he took me to see the doctor which is helped me a lot. definitely recommend here to stay
