The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The rooftop pool was clean and fresh towels were provided. Breakfast was plentiful. The staff were always available for assistance if needed and any queries on activities in Marissa or surrounding areas. Close walk in a quiet area to the beach and restaurants. Massage chair a bonus and sitting area with beanbags a great place to relax

This is the perfect hostel! I came here during off season in Mirissa and they were technically closed. They still decided to leave my booking and let me stay in the Hostel. Not only did they upgrade my room from a dorm to a private room for the same price but they made sure there was staff there at all times. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They helped me with everything and made sure I felt right at home. There’s a kitchen and filtered water free of charge available! The hostel is very clean, modern and the location is just perfect, in walking distance to shops, grocery stores, the beach, restaurants and everything else you need. Great value for money and I can’t recommend this place enough!

We had a lovely stay at Coconut Reach. The room was clean and just like the pictures, the shower even has hot water if you want it. We had to work from our laptops a few days and the internet was stable and suitable. So good for remote work. The breakfast every morning was simple, but tasty. And the location is great, you’ve got coconut tree hill on your doorstep so you could watch the sunset and Mirissa beach is only a 15 minute walk. Last but not least, the family who runs it is super friendly and is available at all times.

Perfect location, walking distance to beach through nature. The hotel is away from the noisy city center. Sunrise, direct through window, was amazing to wake up with. The private balcony is facing the water. Breakfast was amazing and a large portion with a wonderful river view . A lot of birds are around the location. Overall a wonderful place to relax .

Such a lovely stay, it’s a perfect location only 2 mins walk from the beach. The room was very big, comfortable bed, good mosquito net and great aircon. It was very clean and breakfast was great. But best of all, such wonderful hosts! So friendly and welcoming, really made our stay thank you!

My husband and I had a lovely stay at Orchid Rest. The host was very friendly and helpful. The bedroom and bathroom were exceptionally clean and was excellent value for money. The location of the property is very quiet but only a few minutes walk to Mirissa beach and nearby restaurants. We wouldn't hesitate to stay at Orchid Rest again and to recommend it to friends.

This guest house was a wonderful place to stay. Great location - just a few minutes walk to Mirissa Beach or the town hub. Wonderful hosts - always smiling and happy to help with anything. The room was spacious and the aircon worked well. There was even a kettle in the room for you to make yourself tea. Wonderful breakfasts served on your terrace/balcony (a little different each day). We hired a scooter too to explore the area.

Palm villa is just an amazing place to stay! At first we were booked for 3 nights but we extended to 5 nights. The location is perfect, just next to the big mirissa beach but in the calm end. The garden area is a really nice place to hang out in, whether if you prefer to chill out in the shade or want to sunbathe. The staff is friendly and helpful, simply 5 star! I really recommend this place!

The best pool we’ve had in Sri Lanka. Very large and comfortable room with an equally spacious balcony. And of course amazing staff - welcoming, friendly and always helpful. We loved that breakfast was brought up to our room every morning on a trolley to be enjoyed on our balcony. The location is also great, right in the centre of town but set well back from the very busy road. The hotel is expensive by Sri Lankan standards but it is an extremely comfortable place to stay. We would definitely treat ourselves to this hotel again!
