Overlooking Grand river Sud, near the ferry to go to Ile Aux Cerfs. Local neighbourhood close location to Eastern Mauritius beaches as it is just half an hour away from Ile Aux Cerfs. Property was very clean, people managing it were awesome. Kitchen was well stocked and also there was a washing machine.

Great food, lovely staff, wonderful laid back approach to a stay. Very accommodating with checking in and out and bag drops. We loved taking the the kayaks and sups up to the waterfall. The daily trip to the beach is great and the island is incredible. Beautiful and quiet beach with nothing and hardly any people. Your own quiet paradise but take some water/drinks with you as you can’t get anything that side of the island. Mountain biking trails about 200m up the road. Beautiful walks up the mountain to waterfalls. We will be back.

- Will definitely recommend this place. It’s true heaven on Earth. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay. Almost everything was perfect here. - Hotel has very nice interior and exterior design and has been seriously renovated. - Amazing beach with clear water and white sand. - Great restaurants. We loved the most Beach Rouge for lunch and dinner. And Beijin duck is the best in Chinese restaurant. - Great variety of water activities, most of which are free of charge even water skies. - All-inclusive package worse that. Great variety of drinks and food included. You do not need anything beyond that.

This place is small but way beyond about the expectations. Service, food and the attitude is more than 4 stars. Location is "quiet" but sometimes you need the place where you have detachd about the world. Food is overall better than one can expect and the variety is goof enough. If have to compare to 5 stars hotels this hotel will be at the same line with those but it is small (maybe boutique hotel). Have to love it

The location was beautiful, a real oasi close to the River, the different areas are curated and the furniture is nice.there is the possibility to do many activities for free (unfortunately we didn’t because of the rain). The food was good and cooked at the moment. Breakfast was good too (missing some chocolate topping!) the room was very nice looking overall (see below)

Loved the view from top apartment where we stayed. Close location to river mouth. Jean Claude went out of his way to accommodate our early check-in and was always available for any further questions. Pool was a welcoming refreshment.

The food was excellent (breakfast and dinner). Our host, Jean Claude, was great : very helpful, talkative and kind. The location of the hotel was perfect to visit the East part of the island with a car (île aux Cerfs, Mahebourg, Blue Bay...). We could also use a canoe (belonging to the hotel) for free to reach a waterfall. It was really nice !

Amazing place to stay, nice room, lovely swimming pool and outside area. Gym is a bit dated but has a bar, bench and some weights so that will always work. Buffet dinner included in the half board was really tasty and there was a different menu every evening. We tried the a la carte menu as well was even better. Clean and beautiful beach. Daily cleaning and new bedsheets so quite impressive for a 3 star hotel.

The general area is typical of a Mauritian neighbourhood. The location of the apartment is very good as it is on the banks of Grande Riviere with lovely views of the river and Indian Ocean which is about 400 metres away. There was always a choice of breakfast cereals available in the apartment with a reasonably stocked fridge and every morning the host Rajesh provided fresh bread at no extra cost

Wonderful place to stay. Clean, well equiped apartement with nice view. Owner was really friendly and kind. He was taking care of us all the time. He recommends us local restaurant and organize trip to Ile aux Cerf for us. I highly recommend to opt for this apartement. Service and atmosphere was just perfect. Village Deux Freres is place where you can meet locals and taste local quisine. Hope to return soon.

Cute tent set up, what I liked was the very delicious home cooked meals especially their lunch is not to be missed. Trust book where you log in everything you eat and drink and they calculate during check out. Staff very friendly organize day and afternoon trips. Had a live jam session in the evenings. The location is very tucked away yet not remote easy to get to. Loved our stay !

Beautiful pool and restaurant/bar by the sea. Rooms and facility were nicely decorated and equipped. Staff greet you with a drink, hot towel, and chair for check-in process. Restaurant food was good and plentiful. Definitely like to visit again but in a different room. Location was good and next to harbour and many boating activities. Streets were a bit narrow thru residential neighbourhood to the hotel but no problem finding it. Hotel had onsite parking and security gate to property.

It’s a very unique place to stay when in Mauritius. We were lucky to have a tent which was covered by trees. the nature is present everywhere and it’s a lot of fun watching all the birds and sometimes even monkeys. the eating area is fantastic. they have home-grown and home-made food which tasted very good!

The location and the extras what the place is offering(kayaking and trip to the neares island) is great. We arrived here from the airport and already expreienced a good mauritian vibe. The breakfast and dinner was excellent (and a lot!) . We stayed in more hotels on the island but this what we liked the most 😉
