Great location, with views on the fjord, 5 min from the centre and harbour (for ferry to Eidfjord/Odda) and a bus stop right in front (for the bus to Voss). Quick WiFi. Good beds, nice rain shower, and a lovely balcony with a bench overlooking the river. Good breakfast with large selection. Fantastic hiking opportunities around (the hike to Jobysket with views on Osafjord is highly recommended!)

Rooms are a good size, clean and tidy.

The staff at the hotel were extremely courteous and helpful. We reached the hotel a little late in the evening and the restaurant kitchen was closed but they offered us some quick bites upon request so that we wouldn't sleep hungry.
Breakfast was good. A nice blend of English+Norwegian breakfast. It would have been nice if we had options for hot breakfast (like fried eggs, omlette, pan cakes etc).
Location was amazing! The view from our room was breathtakingly beuatiful.

The location is extraordinary, right in front of the water with an incredible view of the fjord. Despite showing its age as an old hotel, it is well-maintained and retains a charm from times past. And for the price, having breakfast included is truly impressive. On our next visit, we will definitely stay at this hotel again.

The location is A1. On arrival, I was given a free upgrade. The room backed onto a stream and had an option to sit out when the weather suited. Staff spoke English and were knowledgeable and helpful.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. I have been on the norway in a nutshell type tour, and this was a planned stop. I'm so glad to have been to this little village and great accommodation. Had an amazing hot breakfast . I would definitely recommend staying here . If you're coming off of a Fjord tour, this is any easy little walk.

Amazing location surrounded by nature, fjords and big beautiful mountains. You can fish here, you can bath, you can enjoy a nice walk or just sit and listen to the river beside you.
Comfortable beds and pillows and very clean. Super good Breakfast at a low price.
Lovely staff people and very helpful in any kind of situation. I really recommend it, we will come back!

Staff were incredibly friendly and you cannot beat the location. It's gorgeous! We have a little morning swim in the fjord which was cold and beautiful. Breakfast was a great buffet. You can sit in the lounge and look at the view.

The staff at the hotel very the friendliest and the most helpful imaginable. Even the night porter seemed happy to see me and served my breakfast with a smile going the extra mile even though I was checking out at 4am. The restaurant is pricy but lovely. The location of the hotel at the fjord is beautiful and the garden gives the place a relaxing, comfortable feel. The balconies are really sweet and handy. I loved the opportunity to swim in the fjord, I was surprised how warm the water was.
