Excellent location. Really good breakfast and dinner. The couple running the place are welcoming and nice people that knows a lot about Vardø and the surrounding area. The rom was good sized with a sitting area and a comfortable bed. If ever going back, we will stay again.

Floor in the room was dirty. But the one that bothered me was the bathroom floor which turned slimy when got wet. Location was good, staff friedly and room cute.

The Vardo Hotel is in an excellent location right on the harbour, with the Tourist Information Centre and the ferry to Hornoya Island almost next door and other key tourist attractions only a short walk away. The rooms are light and pleasant, although a harbour view would be better than a street view, and we appreciated having a fridge. We had a very good meal at the hotel’s restaurant, which has views of the harbour, and the staff were friendly, efficient and helpful.

Great location at the harbor and 2 mins walk to office to buy boat tickets to Hornoya Island (which is an exceptional birding experience). Staff very helpful and the food at dinner food was excellent. Rooms simple but all you need.

Great location, just near the harbour. Lovely big room with view of harbour. Little touches like boot stand for wet footwear in corridor were great. Limited menu, but lovely food.
