A great B&B in wonderfully serene location on the Seabird Coast. Every comfort has been thought of & hostess Ellie is discreetly there when you need something. Lovely worldly lady to have a yarn to as well.

Location was perfect for enjoying the birds at Miranda, or simply as a stopover from Coromandel to Auckland.

Loved the location, so peaceful and a great view even though the weather wasn't very good. Hosts were extremely friendly and generous (thanks for the grapes and use of the dryer). Loved the spa. Would highly recommend a stay here. The fish and chips at Kaiau were certainly well worth the drive to get them

The location was excellent for visiting the Miranda bird centre and hides.
Ellie was extremely welcoming and gave us lots of tips on places to visit and good restaurants.
She also found my camera which I must have dropped outside and was soaking wet. It has dried out and is in good working order. Thanks Ellie.

Location is superb — small farm in a beautiful setting near the coast and a favourite bird watching spot.
The rental Space is well set up and had everything we needed. Especially appreciated the curtaining which kept the room dark for that extra hour of sleep!

View from the deck was stunning. Although the bedroom apartment was attached to family home, it was a lovely, peaceful location. Friendly hosts who live at the property kept room warm and spa ready for us to use. Kaiaua fisheries had the best fish n chips only 10 min down the road. Lovely market at Thames on Saturday only 40 min away. A relaxing weekend getaway!

Excellent for a weekend away, close to AKL yet far away to feel like a holiday. Property very clean and tidy, warm, hosts very generous with providing of milk, nice tea and coffee, and even things like salt & pepper, oil, marg etc! Very peaceful location, kids loved the friendly chickens and collecting the eggs. Fed the cows apples, and could see the new lambs from afar. Hosts very friendly and accommodating.
