A very comfortable, moder apartment. Very good contact with the owner, who takes good care of the comfort of his guests. Excellent location, a nice walk to the very centre of Coimbra. An electric heater helps to keep the rooms warm. It's also very quiet so we slept well. And both the bed and the sofa were very comfortable

I loved the concept of this hotel. You literally stay inside a box which has everything you need. There are no windows so probably not the best place to stay if you are claustrophobic. The bed was very comfortable and we got a great night of sleep. The breakfast is served in the upstairs restaurant. It is buffet style. The restaurant has a loft feel to it.

Location was great and suited us for access to the race venue for European Multisport Championships. It was far enough away from centre of town not to be too noisy but close enough to walk in (you get used to the hills - they are just a fact of life here). AQ188 is a great place to stay and I would certainly recommend it.

Very nice place to stay for the money spent. Great location, though it can get a bit loud outside at night. The rooms were clean and spacious with comfortable beds and overall nice furniture. The bathrooms had shower gel and shampoo and we received clean towels, which was a sweet surprise.

I had a dormitory at the top of the building with single beds and it was super beautiful and comfy, also very clean! The hostel staff is very friendly and helpful! I had way too much luggage and they helped me with bringing it in and setting it up in the room. It has THE BEST location! In the very centre of Coimbra, just next to the arch! I love this place, definitely coming back :)

The host during our stay was lovely. The location is perfect, just across the bridge on walking distance of the city center. Free parking place on walking distance as well (no parking at the location itself). The building is nicely renovated. Our room had a comfortable bed, enough space to move around or put your luggage. The bathroom worked as it should. In the common area you can make coffee or tea.
